If your interested I would like a gtr front bumper so we could work out a trade.
Thanks, but I want to keep my gtr bumper for a while, my gts-t has the solid orange corners, no idea if it has gtr fenders though. Apparently you can get orange ones made for the gts already?

              Fall 2010 Update

Have begun the slow process of painting my car, fix up all the little dings and dents that a 20 year old car tends to get over the years.

So far most of the bodywork is done just a few small things left then highbuild the problem areas and sand some more.
I bought all my supplies from a shop in calgary called HPC super nice guys and very helpful with everything. I went with a Pro-spray base coat and a Eurostar clear coat, which is all they sold but they spoke very highly of it. The colour will be a european ford colour but thats all i'll say for now. Hopefully i can get paint on it and polished before xmas as i have another long list of things to do.

Changed the oil in daily driver as well, it gets similar fuel milage to my car, which is very impressive for a v8.

Finally, something interest, my dad project at the moment a 2010 skidoo 1200 4-stroke which is in the process of getting an mc express turbo kit. It will be running a gt2860 and should be good for 250hp as the company states.

More to come as I get closer to spraying.

Your boosting a 1200 4 stroke sled? Sick!!

How heavy is it? I always figured those doo 1200's are really heavy (im into sleds myself, have an 03 rev 600 mxz).

What are you painting the car??

Its still short tracked at the moment, it will eventually have a 162" track but with the 121 right now its not actually that heavy, I seem to think they said a touch over 500, which isnt a whole lot more then my 06 rev, but with the turbo kit and a long track on it, it will defiantly add a few pounds.

As for the car should be a good colour, its tough to say what its really going to look like as i just opened the lid of the can to see the colour, those colour swatches never do it justice.

Small update, Ive been busting my ass sanding like crazy. The Fenders, bumpers, skirts and some small pieces are now painted, and the rest of the car should be ready to go very shortly.

Ive order quite a few things lately as well
                      -shift ebrake boots
                      -Whiteline sway bar
                      -endlinks
                      -LED interior lights
                      -HIDs
                      -Keyless entry
                      -couple misc bushings

                      Waiting to order
-blitz sbc (unless someone can recommend a better simple one)
                      -ss brake lines
-brake fluid (please recommend a good one)
                      -cuplers
-and many small pieces from Nissan
                      -replace all fluids

The list grows for misc stuff to do also. This winter basically consist of doing the litle stuff that makes the car a little more confortable and fun to drive. As well as try and make it more track friendly for the summer

                      Bad blackberry picture

My car is now all painted and mostly all put back together so I can get on with all my other things I want to get done.

Heres some shots of the fender rolling and pulling

Will be going much lower due to the roll on the front fenders now as well, and im going to go for a much lower profile front tire as I hate any kind of rubbing.

I also installed a cusco shifter bushing which was brass, I anti-seized it and put it all together. I recommend this to everyone as it took away slop in the shifter and made the shifts feel much more solid, I have yet to drive it faster then 30km so im unsure if road noise will be increased with this or not but so far it seems positive. Sorry pics of it though.

                          Things looking dirty and neglected.

For those of you who are considering keyless entry i thought i would post a shot of how I installed my actuator. Only needed on the drivers door. I bought this one from ebay and seems to work alright. I only had to drill 2 holes and it went in very quickly. great upgrade for any one who street drivers their car, adds no more then a pound total and brings the car up to the 2000s.

I got the bushing from rhdjapan. I'm not sure if it can be found anywhere else though.
