  • The baddest GTS-4 ever? always updating.....

Well I guess its time to start my build thread...... I have me a 1990 Nissan Skyline GTS-4. I have opted to swap in the rb26dett from a GTR seeing hows its pretty much bolt in..... currently the motorswap is done (BPU++) and the car is currently getting paint/body work.... so thats where the pics will stop for now.
The overall plan for this was an aggressive kit but i decided to go with a nice lip and some gtr side skirts and spats..... wingless.
    The engine plan:
The engine is coming back out this fall/winter and it will be getting fully built (forged pistons, H beam rods, ARP hardware everywhere, 272 cams, Port job, and a multilayer headgasket, nismo oil pump and r33 crank. Comp turbo ct4370 triple ball bearing with supporting fuel and a tial 44mm wg.... stay tuned for that)

on to pics..... they speak for themselves

    tried GTS wheels

    than GTR wheels

nah how about split 5 spoke staggered 18's?

those are nice but i need something truely BALLA
work 18x9.5 +12 oughta do the trick

oooooops..... they dont really fit! haha

Grab the fender roller and lets throw in that nismo suspension

    better

now i just need adj height coilovers so i can SLAM it and tuck those wheels up there

    rb26 stuff:

    ARC box dirty

    polish and elbow grease

    TT DP for 26

    FMIC

    AEM wideband

    lets GET DIIIIIIRTY!!!!!!!

    out with ya!

fuk a RB20! but ill keep that front diff

=) RB26DETT with aftermarket 02 housings, new waterpump, PE kevlar timing belt, RPS 6 puck clutch etc

    NEW HOME

    making dreams come true

some laughing amongst the cursing and bloody knuckles

if im pulling the motor to do bearings im not fuckin around

        detonation marks

and there is no way im putting stock turbos back on a built rb26

        originally went to greddy twins

but scraped the idea for a huge single
"So I've had a major change in plans this week.... I sold the GReddy TT setup and purchased a large single. It is a Comp Turbo CT4372 (72mm) ceramic triple ball bearing turbo with an MX wheel and .84ar exhuast housing for quicker spoolup.... Its got the polished compressor housing with the anti-surge. I will be running this with a custom manifold and and Tial 60mm (V60) wastegate.
Few more mods now will be dual intank walbro 255lph pumps feeding -6an lines to a dual feed OBX rail and a Fuel Lab regulator all feeding 760cc injectors. Also will be running an ATI street damper. Currently i have a Power FC with dual Z32 mafs but im trying to trade for a D-Jetro and go MAP..... we'll see how this turns out but stay tuned for progression as it comes over the next few weeks and into the winter.
Spring time is 800whp or BUST"

so this week i moved the car from the shop it was at becuase the guy never had any room for me to work on it. He literally PACKED his shop with cars. So i took it out of there to my buddy's garage where i can put in the wrench time and get it done. My friend is a good tig welder so that'll come in handy come fab time. we cleaned off the car and engine bay, pulled out all the old a/c ****, removed IC piping (making custom), and started getting the engine ready to install (capping off/removing unneeded lines, bypassed factory oil cooler, time engine, shim valves, etc)........ ill be updating as we go

does it look better raced out with no covers?

got the trans and stuff in.... left the front halfshafts out becuase i need new front bearings (4-6weeks away) and dont feel like taking them back out.

Turbo mani collector and WG flanges welded on.... just need machine shop to open mani up in the collector and plane the t4 flange

monday we'll be making the coolant/oil lines for the turbo and also the lines and stuff for my -10an oil cooler setup

we still have to install my oil pressure gauge, finish fabbing fmic piping, fab WG dump tube, install wire harness, remote mount the battery to trunk (run power wire and mount battery tray) splice in z32 mafs, modify/fab full exhuast, custom fab a dual mafs intake/suction pipe, fill fluids, bleed atessa, and tune

not too much roll..... im switching up to a 245 and toning down the camber.... it'll be flush when its done....

the setup is good for 800whp at 33psi.... but ill need a better fuel system.... thatll come in the future (-10an lines and aeromotive a1000 pump with 1200cc inj)
right now ill make 550whp since that about as much as the walbro can handle

Personally I like the flared fender look...

But I would go with a gtr front bumper with the ducts or a lip on your current bumper... The front end is not low enough.
