But I would go with a gtr front bumper with the ducts or a lip on your current bumper... The front end is not low enough.
i totally agree with you..... But ivce searched everywhere for a lip for this bumper and connat find one anywhere..... i will probably make a custom one.
I also have the oem optional sideskirts and rear valances....i just just got them so i need ot paint them before installing
i have an extra bumper same as mine (just not cut out yet)
if u want it. Looks like ill do the GTR lip.... that looks good.
im not a fan of aftermarket styling anymore... i prefer optional/rare oem stuff
i had a full body kit that i just got rid of..... i never used it cause it was just too much for me.... this kid from montreal grabbed it for his car.... its nice just not me
^^ that style of kit looks great wingless. That kit is more of a drift/track style look IMO.
How much do you want for the bumper? If you cut out the license plate part (which it looks like you did) they look mean with a big bad ass shiny FMIC... One more thing that would look good IMO is solid orange corners (I think the sold orange are gtr?)...
If you don't mind shoot me a PM with the price and where your located. I need something more height friendly in the front and I don't want to raise my car because I dig the low look.
coolant and oil lines made. just gotta make a -10an drain outta stainless braided
oil feed is custom crimped -4 JIC perfect length from parker hose....we even slipped on an insulator before it was crimped where its touching the compressor so it dont eventually rub a hole in it....
coolant lines are push-lok -6an (3/8) with DEI fire sleeve (the good fiberglass lined stuff for 2200 deg)
my gate had a baby....
yea thats a legit silvia creepin....
mani.... TIG welded schedule 40 stainless 304..... thick as hell.... this thing will never crack....
the manifold is schedule 10 stainless steel (304) so its thick.....
id ballpark another one at $1000 give or take
the manifold had about 4-5 hours of weld/fab time - $450-500
The materials were as follows:
Vibrant performance collector - $52
4x Vibrant T's- $38 each x 4 = $152
2x Vibrant J's- $17ea x 2 = $34
T4 flange - $20
and maybe another $20 for the gate piping
BMC head flanges - $100
I also dropped $140 on machining to open the t4/gate and mill both surfaces flat
moved the boost gauge to the cluster so i could put the oil pressure in the pod with the aem uego.... i wanna keep my eye on those two more than anything
one ic pipe mocked with bov
sitting low
Got all the turbo lines done.... and they are BADASS i must say i spent half the day staring at them
Oil feed is a custom crimped -4jic from a custom made banjo to -4jic on the block
was crimped by parker hose
The coolant feed and return are pushlok -6 hose (3/8") with aeromotive fittings (a 45, 120, and 90 degree) the pushlok hose is protected by DEI fire sleeve which can take 2200 radiant heat.... on the one hose in between the turbo and mani we also coated it with the heat tape that i have (from the firewall and strut tower etc) that is rated for another 1400+F radiant heat. this was all secured with stainless mechanics wire (the pushlok fittings to hose were also)
The oil drain is a -10an stainless steel braided line with a 45 and straight fitting on aeromotive -10an line. We used one of the old turbo drains out of the rear of the block on the bottom and welded on a -10 to it and it pointed perfectly to the 45 on the turbo drain right below the gate.... it was perfect..... im glad the idea came to me cause we were originally trying to get the drain to goto the front wihich would have been a shitshow this is better, cleaner looking, and more effective.... the oil will be happy going down this drain.
