Lots of hot, cold cycles affects all of the studs / bolts on engine. Add a tight cambelt to weakened tensioner bolt = snap. Exhaust manifold studs are more common due to they experience more heat.

Yep, reused the stock old tensioner bolt never doing that again.
Spec on cams, stock lift, 270 duration, no machining of head required. Although I did get a three angle valve job .
I replaced all the exhaust manifold studs with arp hardware when I did the first rebuild.

Nope, brand new product. I was specifically looking for sftop in cam, didn't have the money to build my head, kelford offered the best service and most aggressive duration, while still staying working stock spec limits. Which I am very happy with and highly recommend these guys. They're from NZ, they had my cams at my door within a week of placing the order too, very high quality, very old shop(they've been inthe business for years) love em.
I have a second rb25 I will be building in the next year or two, which will have fully built head, with big lift big duration cams, to help achieve my 650hp goal for it. But the motor in the car now, I want to keep around 400-450whp. To keep it somewhat docile. Brrrrat brrrap brrrapp braaaaaapbrapbrap braaap, shift, brapp, *squeal,*smoke,*flames. love.
