Finally got some HID's. Major improvement over the stock bulbs.



Even got a free car lighter, chrome valve stem caps, and two multicolor LED's.



Major difference, HID on driver side, stock bulb on pass side.


Had to modify my OEM bulb holders to fit the new HID bulbs. My bulbs are H1's and have the little socket to hold the bulb in the projector housing. It's a major leap of faith to do this mod cause once you start you cannot undo it. Basically I had to hollow out the OEM sockets to allow the wire from the HID bulbs to pass through while still allowing the socket to hold the bulb in the projector. There is a really good how to I followed on one of the Aussie forums which makes this upgrade fairly easy. I can pass that along if anyone else here wants to upgrade their crappy OEM headlights.
I will post up some pics once I get my headlights re aimed.

hood and grill look really good outside. that vent does wonders for cooling if it has an open path to the rad and fan.

The vent works well, took it for a rip on the hiway and she barely got up to operating temp. Guess I have to readjust my cooling fan controller to let her heat up a bit more. Overall I'm happy with the look, but now the only problem is I really want a GTR front bumper now, lol.

Hood and grille installed. Some minor fitment issues, (to be expected) but overall looks sick. Just need an LS1 swap and babyzilla will be a force to reckon with. I'm half tanked and waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy tired so I'll post pics tomorrow.

5 hours and max speed of 140kph, I'm surprised. Got a few rub marks from my tie down straps, but a quick buff with some wax should clear it up.
