As far as I'm concerened the best option would have been an LS. (haters gonna hate) But my goal was to keep it all Nissan.

The vh45 can be a pretty nasty motor. throw a stroker in there and some nasty cams while you got it out.

I'm just going to keep the motor stock. Throw a little boost at it. It's a factory over built motor, can take a lot. I'm on a time crunch, so for now I will just toss another one in and get some miles on it before Nissanfest. I will forego cams and stroker. I will however make a coffee table of my toasted motor.

              Update:
Old motor out. New motor in this weekend hopefully. Just waiting on threaded inserts for the trans adapter bolts, and a 94 CAS and an ECU to repalce the one that fried. Hopefully it should be drving in a week or two.
              Out with the old...

              ...in with the new.

Vacuum lines? We don't need no stinkin vacuum lines!

              Bye Bye OEM stuff

Well I turned some bad luck (vandalism, someone jumped on my hood and keyed the 1/4s) in to good luck (pink bitches!)

People have been on my case about the decision.. Will see what they say once she is running

My dad just shakes his head.. not only is it pink... I'm missing half a motor
He did say he would run me if I ever got it running.. Looks like I'll have to have a go at his 'stang to christen the swap!

You can see what I am up to in that last pic

IC Piping, coolant lines this weekend.
Then haul it home, and just wiring and she should be good to go.

Nissanfest won't be missed a 3rd year in a row!
