Help. Smoking

Car is a 90 Gtst 194xxx Kms. It's been driven hard 7 turbos. I have an issue that arose today. Noticed it smoking a lot at idle. So went and smelled as just smells like burning. I'm an apprentice so I've learnt what oil or coolant smell like and it's not sweet not blue either more grey white. I know I'm rich at idle but this is different. Has a ws0448 turbo witch was new a year ago. Has 10 xxx Kms on it. Rev up goes away then wait a few seconds and starts up again.

Maybe coolant is leaking when you give it gas and cooking on the turbo or manifold? Your lines are leaking, my guess is your WS racing or what ever ebay turbo you have came with crappy lines aswell.

Do you have a bunch of bubbles/pressure in your coolant reservoir? How old is your rad cap?

Sounds like head gasket issues. Check your rad overflow tank and check the dipstick and bottom of radiator cap to see if their is a mix of oil and antifreeze. It will look like soft mud (pic below) Even if it doesnt look as bad, i'd take off the head still and check for head gasket failure. Oh and this will mean significant damage.

Rad cap and over flow are clean coolant still green. Oil has no foa

Hmmm if it just blows white smoke at start up it could be the PCV, black smoke could mean rings

clean your maf/ replace will probably fix it

Journal bearing let go in the turbo. Pulled the feed line after sitting all Nigjt and it was still full and the return was dry. Then you hear the bearing inside grinding. Turbos almost all part and parts ready to be prdered
