Symptoms of Bad Cam Angle Sensor?

Anyone had this fail on their GTS-T? What were the symptoms?

follow my thread to see if this is your problem. When my CAS failed, i would lose power while on the throttle for about 1-2 sec.

I have had 2x CAS fail and was due to the bearings inside CAS (from memory they are NTN bearings with part number on them).

Symptoms are 1-2 degrees decrease in ignition timing (engine feels less responsive), hard starting when engine is cold and hot, CAS error code on ECU. If you leave it for too long the bearings inside CAS can make engine stall.

ohh well... mine... simply died on the highway.. you know like when paul walker got hit by an electric gun and hes fake r34 went from vroummm to zoouuummmmmm.. well same thing happened to mine.. I almost had a major accident because i was going 30kmh in a 100kmh highway exit ( 1 lane only couldn't move to the side).

Very fun.. so I bought a new one in a heartbeat.

I swapped mine out with a used unit and the engine has been healthier ever since, but still my hard hesitation when cold alludes a solution.
