You're welcome. It could be as simple as replacing headgasket (not a big problem).

The stock headgasket isn't that great as some make it out to be, as the seal around cylinders is frayed and thick in thin in places and I guess the thin area's is where it lets go. A good metal headgasket provides a solid thick seal around cylinders and should be a mod that's fitted on a boosted up engine (make sure block, head are straight).

Well, Apparently the rb25det ecu isnt tunable where as the 300zx one is, so if i make any modifcations that require a tune i can then do so. Where as i would have to go out and buy a new computer if i stuck with the rb25 ecu.

Now, Ive talked to the guy who did my harness merge and ecu tune. And apprently everything should be to spec and it should be running good, But its not and next availible time for dyno tune is in june. So my question is....

The pin out on the 300zx ecu is the same as a rb25? if so i going to try and run a 25 ecu for the time being. Ive also searched all over the internet and not finding much on pinout for both ecu's

If running Nistune, 300ZX ECU pinouts are changed internally so 300ZX ECU plugs into stock RB25DET ECU loom. It's easy to damage internals of ECU if soldering, etc wasn't done properly (damage the tracks on circuit board, not enough solder, bad soldering, etc) or overheated circuit board (didn't let it cool down inbetween solders), static damage from not earthing person or workbench, etc and touching circuit board. Mine took ages to do, but was done properly with antistatic equipment, etc.
