Ok this is straight messed, i mean i know they are in need of money but this is just heartless, i cant believe it. this is an email i got from a relative.


Sending you an e-mail of the turtles on the beaches of Costa Rica .

See the pictures where the female cannot cover up her own eggs,

Before the intruder steals away what Nature has given her to protect her young.

These people have unfortunately, taught their children nothing for the future generation to cherish.

Look at these children and they do not know anything about conservation of

Marine Life Protection and look at the disastrous road their parents are taking too..............
What have they all gained for the future of Costa Rica 's Marine Life protection?

That's absolutely terrible, from what I understand the sea turtle population had was an endagered species that has slowly been on the rise in recent years (last 5 lets say). This just sets them right back on all the progress the species had made.

in newfoundland, for example, they throw newborn kittens in the ocean if they don't want to keep them. they do it with a straight face just like these costa ricans do. yeah it's sad but it's normal over there.

LOL I was gonna say how do you know they are eating or selling them. Conservation efforts were more likely. I doubt they taste good anyways.

Stayed in Tamarindo Costa Rica for about 3 months, years ago... which is about 1 hour north of Playa Ostonal (sp?) where this takes place.

Its 100% Legit, government monitored and actually helps the turtle population grow. if I can find my pictures of the beach its really a cool site to see... hundreds of turtles at one time.
