Oh definitely! Stagea's, Silvia's, 240's (As I know a lot have RB swaps) are welcome. Classified will have their own Silvia and GTR there too. Along with the RX7 and a track Impulse for varied some fun

I will be ironing more kinks out in regards to the date, tomorrow. I already said there was no date posted as this was just a feeler thread for general interest in the event We will be making the decision on if this event goes through hopefully by Monday. Stay tuned!!! And please help us out by spreading the word. Lets see that list grow!

Hey guy's, a decision on this event and (Assuming a go) an official date will be posted soon. I will be meeting with the owner of Classified Motorsports or iron out some things and then I will let everyone know the direction of Skymeet West. Thanks!

@Amnash, to what recent incidents are you referring to?

All, I am hoping to know by the end of this weekend if this event is a go or not. Please spread the word to friends, as 17 people does not justify the massive amount of work that goes into these events.

Just dont plan it for a weekend that has a major event going on (like last year) and kick all of your locals in the ass and get them out. I was quite stunned to see that NONE of the Kelowna/Vernon people came out last year. If 20 Skylines show, you had a very good turnout. The most I ever had come to HotNite in Kamloops was 12. Kelowna rocks for touristy stuff, people will come for both the meet and the chance to visit the Okanagan.

Its hard to get a group of cars from a community like this to come out anywhere.. but drive all the way to Kelowna.. I can promise you that out of those 17 listed so far you will be lucky if 10 actually end up coming.. Life happens, things come up, I have been talking about coming to Hotnite for a good 5 years now.. but i never make it.. (Sorry Jon)

I was in talks with a local shop to do Skymeet west Here in Vancouver again, but you put your feeler thread up.

Just have the event planned so it doesn't matter if 100 people show up or 1..

I think that's the reasoning behind people paying upfront. If you have money invested you are more likely to show. You could even have people pay in and if not enough pay by x day the event gets cancelled you refund, if the event goes and you don't make it though you kinda gotta suck it up. It's like flaking on friends, don't say you'll show if you can't.

The skymeet could also involve going to formula d in Seattle.....

Late July. 1.5 hour drive from the border. Huge event already planned just need to drive there

Once all the details are ironed out and we have a solid date/time for the event, a FB event should bring more awareness and participants.

Haha those were the days...then we were in a rush to get there, and we all picked up speed on the highway...and I lost a flag but I had 2 at some point, photos to prove it
