Yes that was an option, but I think its a lot more fun to have trophies, a big BBQ, a chance to win prizes, spondership packages etc etc. Makes the event more worth-while

No, I meant the front page. I doubt if the $20 entrance fee is keeping many people away and I agree it will definitely make it a better event overall. I think we just need some more exposure as the message board has pretty limited traffic these days.

$30 per person does seems steep. unless each person is eligible for a prize.. but even then, $30 can get you a ton of cheap Hot dogs, Burgers and toppings, Cokes..

What if we are bring our Ladies.. we have to pay $30 for them to come and look at cars with us.. and mabe eat one Hotdog that is worth like $2...

I don't see how having trophies etc has it's place in Skymeet, and I've yet to hear from anyone who thinks it does. It's a meet for Skyline (etc) owners, for forum members to gather in a larger scale. I'll be there this time no doubt, kinda feel where Cory (h4X6) is coming from though.

Ive just made the decision that I'm not going. Sorry all, but I'm just getting the vibe that this is going to be heading in the direction it went last year, and I'm not spending the money in gas, hotel, food etc etc, when i could be putting that into my car or my future home.
