                  go to: info@canadiangt-r.com

...all i know is that they're based in Osaka, and Martin has contacted them. Their webpage contains virtually nothing, but they're opeing next month. They're just another importer geting into the game IMO.

The guy is from Winnipeg who runs canadiangt-r.com

He seemed to be a frequent on the winnipegheights.com forums. We'll just have to wait and see.

...this thread is for people or companies importing Skylines, not thinking of importing them or working out the details of importing them.

RB Motoring imports 100% legal JDM vehicles to the USA.

We can and will send cars to Canada.

If people wanted - we could even do some basics on tuning the car and then send it on its way to Canada.

Rough estimate on an '89 GTS-t Type-M? '89 GT-R? What sort of price range would we be looking at here, if you can give us one?

tyndago, just wondering what kind of pricing a skyline GTR would be if it came through RBMotoring. I assume the costs would be along what importconcern and jns would offer since you will not have to modify like the US legal vehicles. Also, if it is slightly modified at RBMotoring (ex. tuning, bolt-ons), any idea on what would be involved to get it across the border?

Cost is always going to depend on car. I have talked to the owner of RB Motoring - Jack Tao about purchasing vehicles.

He was just over in Japan for about 2 months . He is going back at the end of February. He has a 1992 R32 GT-R in Japan for his daily driver while in Japan.

Getting the cars is not a problem. Just a matter of what kind of cars people want / are looking for. I know what I would look for in a GT-R , but hard to say what people in Canada are looking for .

Price is always important , but it should not be the only factor in purchasing a vehicle. In Japan especially. The more expensive it is of course the nicer it is. The less money it is , the less "nice" that it is.

You can not get the best of both worlds , you always need to make some compromises.

We are going to have a good look at the market , figure out where we need to be.

As far as shipping goes , we can ship direct to a port in Canada. Or we could have a car shipped to Long Beach (down the street from where I live) on a temporary import bond . We can get the car , modifiy it to whatever level you would like , and then truck it up to Canada. I do not forsee any problems. Just the extra costs associated with trucking .

I have imported cars from Japan(since 1999) . Exported cars to Japan (since 1989) . Brought in cars from Canada and Mexico on temporary bonds to be exported to Japan. We have extensive experience with customs , and shipping.

Oh yeah...... a few years experience working with GT-R's.
