You just have to make sure they have them in Stock. Quite a few years ago there was a shortage of CF, I was lucky enough to pre-order from them and when I went to get my goodies they told me thewhole roll of Cf (100 yards) was all sold in 4 hours.

The material doesn't cost that much more the fiberglass but you do have to be more skillful when dealing with CF vs. FRP.

i bought roughly 80SQFT of CF a couple days ago off ebay, just gotta wait for it to come in. it was quite cheap because there were a couple imperfections with the fabric, but im planning on making small items with it, so i can still pick at the pieces with no worries.

i wouldnt say that CF is cheaper then FPR cause the cost is considerably different, but the cost of the resin does soften the different a bit

CF is WAY cheaper now then 2, 3 years ago but I do agree they're still $$$. The worse part is if you make a mistake then it's gone...

really only works in black cars, but what you do is get a decal, something with actual lettering that is not connected together. stick it on the CF and paint over everything. once your done and the paint is dry, you rip off the decals, and your left with the very subtle look of whatever you put on the hood prior to the paint. looks pretty nice if you ask me, and the darkness of the car and CF go well.
