Although I am the #1 Devil's Advocate around here.....I do however feel that unless the OP can provide proof of said work to the rest of us (receipts etc) he/she should either be banned or suspended for posting SLANDER and have this thread deleted.

Claims such as these deserve PROOF and NOT just what we read here.

Hear-say and "I think they did it" is not enough to crusify a shop on the forum.

I sat back and watched as everyone here BLINDLY called JDM Tuners a bunch of crooks WITHOUT THE ENTIRE STORY, when it was clearly their Jap connection that f#cked things up......AND I WON'T STAND FOR IT AGAIN.

If this bandwagon fills up too far without proof, I will make it my personal mission to burn everyone on it.

QUIT BEING SHEEP AND PULL YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR @SSES !

How about the fact that this same rant happens ohh i dont know...every 3months.....thats proof enough.

noones gonna start posting workorders and reciepts for stuff, cause well thats there personal stuff and shouldnt be thrown around the interent. And before you start running your mouth about this subject you should sit back and thinkk about if you;ve thrown some accusations around on here about parts not yet recieved...

I've only dealt with tss a few times, and usually for small parts (the most I've spent there at once was $120) but everytime I've gone there I was treated amazingly, even if I wasn't buying anything but only asking questions. Before I got my car, I went to tss about 3 or 4 times, and everytime the owner took 30 mins or more out of his day to answer my questions and was a really friendly and helpful guy.

With that said, I've never had any work done by them, so I can't vouch for them there. I just wanted to let people know that others have had good experiences with them.
Looking for cheap parts? supguyex (Jon) is parting out his car. Good prices, good guy.

I'm all for researching any shop before having work done, in a way i'm fortunate not to have any shop that i would trust with my car within 600km. I'm forced to tackle it myself, which i like but sometimes can be a bitch.

The problem with stories on forums is that 9 out of 10 times the person is only writing because they had a problem. who knows maybe a shop like TSS has done some great work, after seeing (not hearing) horror stories though i don't think it's worth it finding out.

JD74 I understand your side of story. Unless proof is established, then accusations are nothing more than, well, accusation.

But to be realistic here, this is an open forum and we are aloud to voice our opinion, which others should respect. As such I've said before, to do anything less than that portrays yourself as ignorant.

Lastely, relating to experiences myself. If I have had a bad experience, I usually tell a few people and leave it at that. It would have to be very poor service for myself to publicly go out and boycott a company, so I would tend to say these accusations are more based on real events rather than useless slander.

To each there own I suppose, but I would suggest you let people voice there opinion rather than trying to be the censorship nazi.

TSS is the worst place I have ever been/dealt with/will rather kill myself than deal with them ever again (In my opinion)... I think It started with asking them about the RB26 oiling problem..... there reply from there mechanic was....... "Oiling Problem?"

Not too mention this is the third blown up motor from them on the island that has lesser than 10,000 km on there "break in period." Please do tear me apart because of this post, but lets bring Stuknott into this and his opinions...... or everyone in victoria section......... please either lock this thread or lets start flaming......

and yes his civic is faster than a large chunk of gtr's

I wonder what his civic puts down? I assume at least a K24(?) under the hood with a big snail? My buddy has a B20vtec boosted crazy high and his last dyno run was sitting at 480ish hp (street tune). However he has at least $10k+ into the engine alone. I rode it in once and I swore I almost needed to change my underwear afterwards.

lol i like making fun of hondas and all, but no, his sled does not put down more power. not even more than a stock honda.

back to fast civics! the honda guy i know has a 98 (i think) civic hatch with a K20 (RSX motor) with intake, exhaust, larger throttle body, and i believe thats it for performance mods. and for some reason ive seen it take down multiple turbo'd cars including a GTR. hes even got a couple of nitrous bottles sitting in his basement that were originaly for another project that got scrapped and now may end up in the civic. i drove it and it actualy scared me how un-refined the car is. you barely touch the gas and it flys.
WHEN MY TURBO'S GET SPOOLED, YOUR GONNA GET SCHOOLED

I'm quite sure this thread has lived its life.

Some shops are good, some shops are bad.
                          Some civics are fast.
