Have you never heard of that saying? It's around for a reason, because for the most part it's true. I have Jewish friends and they are in fact... VERY stingy with their money. Same thing like calling someone Dutch. The are for the most part the same (just generalizing here). I had a firend in HS who, when he would find a penny... stick it in his backpack and at the end of the week collect it all and go the bank...

Derogatory terms and phrases are not funny anymore. i am sure if we polled the Jewish population, they may not support the humor you find in bashing them.

The term actually meant that a BUYER paid less for something by negotiating with the seller to the point where the price was lowered even beyond what the seller's bottom line was suppossed to be.
It has NOTHING to do with being jewed=ripped off.

Maybe if white folks actually had derogatory names used against them that offended than the white folk would be less willing to 'label' other groups.

I agree for the most part, and personally don't use those terms. I was just saying, for a LONG time they have been in everyday vocabulary and just because someone uses it doesn't mean they are a racist. :-).

Oh, and I get called a "kraut" and "nazi" all the time, but for the most part I know people are joking and I don't take it personally.

they're so trusted that they have the only skylines that i've ever seen with rust.

i was actually there yesterday (for sheits and giggles) but ALL their cars were covered in snow.
