So after just recently having driven a GTR for the first time ever, just thought I would throw it out there: Do you guys (and yes girls) remember what it was like or how you felt the first time you had finally driven Godzilla?
I personally stalled it right away, not going to lie :sick2: . Having driven other 4/5 speed cars before, the first thing that I noticed was how heavy of a clutch it had, and the engagement zone was SOOO small. But ill attribute it to the fact that it was a 6 puck clutch rated to 450 ft lbs . But I got it going right after that haha. All I can say is that...wow unlike anything Ive ever driven or experienced. The steering ratio was so tight, the whole car had this solid feel to it. And yes, the power of it all was crazy. I have an even bigger amount of respect for people that own 500+ HP GTRs. You dont really understand fully until you drive it and feel the numbers. But what was even better was how Nissan has made it so manageable and civilized on the road. But you can sense the whole time that there is this monster waiting to get loose...don't worry I didn't act like an idiot. One could go on forever about the smallest little details. But we don't have that kind of time or space now do we? Not to mention finally getting to drive the car Ive lived for like 6 years. The only other skyline I can compare to driving is a GTS...but your really cant. They're not even remotely in the same car universe as each other. The worst part about it...waking up the next day and know that it wasn't MY car that I could just go down stairs and drive. It truly is a piece of automotive art. I just want to say "Bravo Nissan" I dunno, just had to get it out of my system hahah.
