well I have 2 clubs on there so its not a matter of fully preventing them, im just intending on it slowing them down, IM going to hear the alarm, first off. THen they have to deal with getting the clubs off. Meanwhile im barreling down on them. Then they wont be able to start it with the ignition. And if they try and roll it do a clutch drop i will already be outside and they will have more to worry about than getting the car started

my garage is full. no room. no go.

And the best feature of the fuel switch is that when you shut the car off there is still fuel in the line, so if someone tries to start it with the switch engaged, it will turn on and idle for about 3-5 seconds, then cut off. If you have a louder exhaust then you will hear someone try to steal your car, and you will probably have enough time to get out there before they realize they won't be going any further!
that might work well. my car is straight piped. the decractive plates mounted on the wall in my house vibrate when the car is on. I will definately hear it.

DarkCaporaL suggested pulling the ecu. Is it something that I can just unplug before bed and replug in the morning, as im not storing this car but need to drive it.

one other suggestion was the fuel pump fuse.
is that located in the same spot as the ignition fuse?

how does the fuel kill switch work? that's a really slick idea, but i guarantee i'd forget every other morning and sit there for a few seconds in a sleepy stupor wondering why my car won't work lol.

              Awwww, I suggested it first
Edit: oh, you did respond to that post, but mentioned you have to drive it regularly

Not really a solution when driving it unfortunately....unless you leave your passenger side kick plate off all the time.

              a) undo whatever's holding down the passenger side kick plate, I forget
              b) undo a couple of the screws from the front of the passenger side door plate (the plastic one that says Skyline I believe), just enough so you can lift it up, as the kick plate mounts underneath
              c) remove the two or three bolts holding the ECU down.
              d) undo the bolt holding the wiring harness in place on the ECU (maybe do this before c, I can't remember)
              e) if you have an HKS speed limit remover, unplug the wires [note where they connect though, so you can put them back] that have been rewired to that, from the wiring harness, depending on where it's mounted (mine was double-sided taped onto the ECU, so I removed them both at the same time)

Then basically do that in reverse to put it back in.

The painful part with mine was the HKS speed limit remover, as it had a few individual wires that had to be re-connected when putting it back in.

if you have a Power FC you can set the rev limiter to 1,500rpm as well. Also good if you have your car in for maintainance and don't want the mechanics taking it out for a spin.

Need to get the mighty quick release steering wheel with hub lock. I was worried my car would get stolen even with the alarm on the car. Now I just take the steering wheel with me and put the hub lock on the car so they can't bring their own.

id like to just pocket the cash and possibly redo the transmission in the gtst when it goes (on its way now)

This is a ghetto style gtst. No power FC, no turbo timer.

THanks for that link to the wheel clamp skym, I have been wanting to find one of those.

There are tons of things you can disconnect or reconnect within a couple seconds, that will not let the car run.

And unless the thieves know exactly what it is, chances are they wont find it.
