Mine is all vented and just in the process of being painted, I'll post a pic sometime in the next few days, it seems like a fairly simple solution, I just hope it looks good.

An improvement but not a massive one. Heat is the #1 electrical killer but many people run no cover or do use a cover for 20 years now. It's not like your car will explode with no venting.

So it is debatable...maybe I'll get a spare cover and drill some massive holes in it and use that for a while vs. the stocker. Who knows, although I do like the look...reminiscent of the flared holes used on support braces for roll cages.

ok here is my version of the vented coil cover. I was a bit sketched out with how it was gonna come out but in the end I'm a bit shocked im the only one that has done it, I think it looks awesome...
