Just cut the cover. Leave the back part intact so that you can still mount the ignitor properly. Ba dum, chshh... It's a free mod, who cares if it looks ugly

not definitive evidence by any means, but prior to putting a HKS DLI on my car, it would misfire worse at high boost (600+whp) with the coil pack cover on than with it removed...and that stock cover that had been machined looks badass

After seeing this I had to vent mine, been looking for a while how to vent the cover, but was never happy with the different ways it's been done. This seemed simple and efficient. Cheers.
