There is one or two running around MTL last I had heard a few (1-2) years ago...It was on a MTL racing thread.
Ya, they're still here somewhere. S15's as well. All half clips that were reassembled and vin'ed as kit cars. Smart, but i am super lazy right now to start tracking some down overseas then go through all the work and such to have it rebuilt

I'm waiting on the R34's to be legal too. I'm guessing decent examples will likely be up around $50,000+. Why? For the first model year around 275 were produced per month (First run of 5536 total from Jan 1999 to August 2000). If we're LUCKY and 10% of those are for sale then that's around 28 R34 GT-R's per month for the first year they're legal...and it goes down from there (under 2000 the following production year).
I take a peak on the Japanese auction sites once in a while and I rarely see more than 3 or 4 of the 1999 GT-R's for sale at a time, though someone might be hoarding them for 2014 - hahaha. They're usually low 40's.
Everyone seems to forget the fact that we may have a 25 year law here pretty quick. If that happens 32s will go through the roof. and the 34 will be non existant.
Did you know RACECAR spelled backwards is still RACECAR ?

There have been rumors of that for as long as I can remember, I doubt it will happen before the 34's are legal.
As much as I would kill to have a r34 gtr... Its just not practical unless your CEO'n. Taking out a $40,000 loan on a 15 year old car just is not right for most people.
If anything I will be sticking with my hcr and buy a wrx, then maybe a s15.
Ryan you should just buy a hcr already, these cars are not getting any younger...

I'm not sure where some of you are getting your pricing from but it's outrageous, Im seriously considering buying a R34 GTR and have been following the prices on pistonheads, check it out. When the time comes though I will need to make the decision about either buy a R35 or the R34. I wasn't a fan of the R35 when it first came out but I think that's because I love my 32 so much and the similarities they share are few and far between. After realizing the potential of the R35 and watching tuning companies take it to a whole new level I am begining to love the car.
Whether I choose the R34 or the R35 I will never sell my R32, I used to dream about owning the R32 GTR and now I finally have one. In my eyes I own a piece of Japanese culture that revolutionized the import world and set and broke records that back then were unobtainable. How many cars do you know that were banned from racing leading to developing a new class to race in because they were to fast. Most will argue they are old technology and are outdated and over rated but everytime I drive my Gtr itreminds me why I bought one in the first place..

Those same people that you beat by the time you snapped your finger LOL.. I laught at those comments. sure, i'm not the fastest, but I'm still, like, faster than 98% of every car on the road. I'm having fun with stock R8. Mind you, next year, I should get maybe another 60whp haha.
Need detailing done to your car? I'm open to travel to detail your car :
no no :P I mean.. I'm having fun shifting R8 when I see one. I used to work at an AUDI dealer and spoke with with almost every R8 i saw, cuz I was the detailer and they used to thanks me to detailing their car and this is how I used to speak with everyone lol. Almost any stock r8 can't take me down.

Oh haha gotcha, that's crazy Your faster then a $120k car it goes to show the R32 GTR is still very capable and will make old men question their $100k + sports cars any day of the week haha
Trevor that sounds like a solid plan, there are more and more excellent examples of the R33 GTR in the country now and most are priced fairly. A friend or mine just bought a immaculate R33 GTR for $16k after tax, import fees, shipping, inspection ect ect. I mean this thing is Mint ! Has less then 60,000kms ! There are a few dealers on here who's vehicle prices are so rediculously inflated it's almost insulting to Gtrc members,I won't mention who they are as I'm sure their lack of car sales is a good indication of their attemp to gouge the buyer.
