I drove my car for the first three winters in Calgary before i finally got a propper winter beater. For all the abuse and damage it was not worth it. Not out here anyways.

      Cars don't feel pain.

My car is still doing pretty damn good.

Switching over to my AWD Turbo DSM for winter. It's gonna be fun. No, really.

Ugh well my car is nothing special being a GTS-T so I see no reason not to drive it. Got a wicked set of winters on it, undercoat, and a little bit of care all will be well.

If you want to preserve the car and keep it super clean just buy a poster . It isn't hard driving in the winter just be careful.

I can think of a lot of other cars that are less special, no need to hate the GTST lol.

Just remember kids - it could be worse. You could be on a crotch rocket in the snow.

I'm not hating on anything. Considering I have owned my GTS-T for 3 years I would think my opinion is actually very logical. Sorry if I offended you?

been there with heated leathers and studded sport bike tires not fun when rear wheel slips out cause you ahve to be bout ten times quicker getting it back under you while on ice and snow then you do in the dry
Nitrous Oxide is like a hot girl with STDs you wanna hit it but your too afraid of the consequences that will fallow

I drove my gtr during a freak june snow storm on 255's and it sucked. I am also worried about rust in the winter, what do you guys think about that electronic ion converter that inhibits rust accumulation? "They" say it's 99% effective, I I just don't know if it's bullsh!t or not.

^That stuff is sketchy. The tech has been around forever and can be found on everything from semis to old tractors.

If the water doesn't get you, the salt will. Winter beaters ftw.

Agreed. I wouldn't trust it. Just park it and winterize. Use another vehicle for winter

They pretty much only work on a brand new car with absolutely no rust, as far as I know.
