    no prob.

And just FYI, what I listed is in my opinion a "minimum to do list". As in, what you HAVE to do if you want to pump some decent power from your stock motor. I could make another list for an all out build without being to "excessive" but then you would be broke for a year or so :P

There is a positive and a negative to that falcon. Yes you would be broke but you would have one hell of a car. I wouldn't mind seeing the list that you would expect for a full out rb build.
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!

I'd build the bottom end, tomei rods, CP pistons, ARP hardware everywhere, tomei oil pump. Headwork would consist of oversize valves sodium filled valves, and springs to match a custom pair of cams ground to work with a Borg Warner EFR turbo and the flow the head puts out with porting/polishing, GReddy manifold, ATI damper, dual feed fuel rail, swirl pot, dual pumps, AN lines from the tank, and thats just the beginning. It's tough to list everything but that would be the basics. I'd run a MoTec or Haltech Sport 2000.

I really have become fond of the Rotrex supercharger unit and will be running one on the Miata. I would love to build a twin Rotrex powered RB26. Custom long tube headers, 2 Rotrex'xs and a linear 600AWHP. Mmmmmm

In a few years when I'm ballin' out of control doing whatever I do, I'll buy a white R34 and do a Rotrex build.

Ya that is A nice list there man. But also I would change some things. I would rather run carillo rods, ferrea valves tomei for head work and cp pistons. Definitely agree with you about the tomei oil pump. I won't bother with a build like this until a r34 is available to me though

The thing I've learned over the last little while is brand names really mean nothing. I merely stated Tomei because they area reputable brand that people here can relate with without being too expensive and enough for the power goals. Carillos are nice as well, as are Crower etc. At the end of the day they all do the same thing. I agree with you on the Ferrea valves they are in a league of their own but you can't really beat a set of custom ground cams matched to your head by anything OTS. Especially at what a set of grinds cost VS. name brand OTS. Tomei makes great stuff, but not for me... at that price.

as nismoist states a stock gtr is pretty fast. but if your not a millionair then i would suggest just upgrading things like your

                  radiator
                  intercooler with better intercooler piping
                  get a good oil cooler
could even heat wrap everything (keep underhood temps down)

then start focussing on efficiency (full exhaust, good low restriction intake kit ( if your planning on sticking with moderate twins otherwise a waste of money at this stage),

along the way if anything starts breaking then upgrade it.

then if you still need more power then at least you have alot of the supporting mods out of the way and you have kept your engine in really good shape. then you can start to upgrade the turbos, engine management, fuel and ignition system, clutch,

it all depends on your budget really and what you want in the end, i think when im all said and done between 5 and six hundred ponies is my goal and more than anyone should ever need for a street car (this is perhaps a bit insane even) but since im not richie rich, im focussing on cooling and reliability first which you need to do anyway if you try to get 500 horse out of the rb. just my two cents

Or just sell your current car and play the waiting game for the one that will really get the job done. I waited for a year and a half to find mine, is pretty basic and puts out like a drunken prom date.

If you are not tracking the car on a road course you can get away with alot of stock stuff and still make close to 700hp. You only need a big turbo and lots of fuel supply. The only thing I have that is not stock other than the D-Jetro and full Trust kit is some smallish HKS camshafts (only 8.9mm lift and 260 dur.). Twin Tomei pumps in the tank and 1000cc injectors.

That's it, everything else is stone stock. Pulls like a rocket sled.

Carrillo supposedly makes Tomei rods which are made by CP now technically. Eagle rods are good for 1000hp, except for GTRC which seem to hate them. I only had enough money for 600whp so I stopped with CP/Eagles and tomei cams.
