i have no idea why people seem to have so much trouble insuring these cars, I've had a '94 Subaru GC8 and now my R32 insured very easily, no questions asked and did it all over the phone... then again i'm in Alberta... the more i read these threads about you Ontario guys the more i feel for you...

Insuring a Skyline

from what I gather, its just Ontarians that get severely screwed when trying to register RHDs, as well as insure them. Location is it. on my own, 19yrs old, spotless record, with a 22 year old 4banger AUTO ACCORD SEDAN (of course, the most ideal when looking to street race and do some danger to your manifold) valued at $1500, my policy is $3700 a year...for LIABILITY only. Ive seen faster lawn mowers..but anyways, thats life. I cant even begin to imagine what I'll do for the skyline when I can get one on the road, I'd like to have SOME coverage incase some morons decide to pull something stupid (theft/vandalism/stealing a gtr badge -.-(not that id file a claim for that, but still)).Last edited by Oakville; 05-04-2011, 01:35 AM.Victory is on the horizon..

anyone in quebec Insure there RHD?
Just have the car evaluated with whatever company you'll be using, this way they know everything that's on the car. Normal mods like cat back, intake and suspension shouldn't make any difference, since these aren't generally considered performance enhancing parts (not like bigger turbos or NOS).R32 GTR FULL SERVICE MANUAL DOWNLOAD:
