I believe you trust me, I'm not guaranteeing anything here, all i know is 2 people on zilvia imported there cars from carjunction.com and their cars are pretty nice. If i buy an R34 it will either be imported by Feast or bought in Canada. You guys are probably right . They're probably junk. My bad, I can admit that, I'll delete my posts.!

    3 980 000 Yen - 2002 Grade 5 - $52475.41 CAD

    3 250 000 Yen - 2002 Grade 4.5 - $42850.52 CAD

    2 700 000 Yen - 2002 Grade 4.5 - $35598.89 CAD

    2 980 000 Yen - 2002 Grade 4 - $39290.63 CAD

    3 080 000 Yen - 2001 Grade 4.5 - $40609.11 CAD

If you can find an R34 GTR for 10 grand, that thing would be a GTT conversion, rusted to hell and back, with no engine lol.

We have only ever sold one and it was about $35K landed (about 3 years ago) and have not had one inquiry since.

Its too much money for people to spend on a 15 year old car that will require a second bank account for maintenance. A few will sell but there will be less R34's in Canada than many people think. We will see a fraction of what we have in R32's and R33's.

Even years down the road, in 2016 lets say, the R34 will still hold a much higher resale than an R32 did at the same age.

Matty I do understand they will hold the value of the car far surpassing the r32/33. When it comes down to it though the amount of people that want a r34 is absolutely ridiculous! There are some people out there that plain and simple just have too much money, or do illegal things in which don't care about the money. 60-70k for a clean low mileage Gtr I personally think will be out of the question. I know that even though I make very little money and that probably won't change too soon I still intend in picking one of these up when they arrive. Price tag will not matter.
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!

I told that guy I had the money and was ready to buy and he never got back to me. That shows you it was fake!

I agree completely. I just dont see many people being able to afford the R34 when they are initially available. A few years after their first available perhaps.

Its about production numbers reallly People..

a car that is Rare is going to fetch a high resale, and higher low time value..

IE: R32's cost over 20G's back in the day for a 89 GTR..

however since there was over 43,000 R32 GTRs sold

                R34 only 12,000ish..

                supply demand.. etc. etc. etc..
R34's will never be R32 Cheap..

                Even in 2020..

There's an R34 GTR being driven around in B.C. Probably from the Richmond area. I believe it was for sale at Weissach motors a few years ago for like $180,000.

Agreed, this car won't be a dime less than 30K. Clean ones, even more so.

Is 30k really that bad though guys? For everyone that has put thousands in on this site it would be a easy call. I know myself personally I am aiming to get one of these when they first are available because I can't depend on the Ontario mto laws to stay the same

Great point, depends entirely on if you wanna drive a well-modded 32 or a stock 34 though. I'd rather have my tits'ed out 32 than a stock 34, that's just me though.

You could get the r34 rb26 now and built it up, then do a swap into the r34 when you get it and sell stock motor?!

Let's out it this way, once you have the car you can do whatever you want to it. In the long run are you going to have a fortune into it... Yup you sure are but you'll also have a one of a kind car that is not only well modded but extremely rare. For me it doesn't matter. Driving a car stock will never happen for me anymore, just not realistic in my mind.

Hosed look at it this way.... When you bought your car you bought it for "x" dollars and over the years of owning it have dumped a **** ton of money into it ya? Judging from what I have seen so far I would say yes. For me I was going to go balls out and build a 32/33 but it just didn't make sense seeming how my dream car is a 34. Now I'm sure you have spent 50k(although that is none of my business and just an estimate, could be more or less). When the r34 arrives let's say I pay 35000$ for a clean 4.5-5grade Gtr, I can tell you for sure it won't be stock. All of cars didn't not come bone stock, alot came with some add ons. So then I would have 15k left to play with right? With a r34 and 15000$ do you think I could hit 500hp? I know it's nothing crazy, but for something to drive on a day to day basis then yes that would be a more realistic car. Now comes in what tyrelee said.... Why build a motor? That's not a wise idea either... Buying say a rb30 that has already been built by a certain someone for say 15000 would pretty much take care of all that. Greddytrusts rb30 would work out well in a 34. So all in all everyone has theyre own a opinion but seriously if you look at it this way it's not bad. Hosed you might prefer a nicely done 32, and trust me I have really learned to love the look but a 34 is nothing but pure beauty in not only my mind but many others as well. Also the potential in those cars can be unlimited

Hey Matt, I know of two NSX's sold by Mike and the first one was to me and my friend for a little more than the $35k of the last one! We came in around $49k CDN 4 years ago, tax no tax does it matter at this point! It was the first red one with the gold BBS wheels and was sent to the States! ( Not illegally I might add!)
Any car that has desirability will demand a price regardless of other peoples perception and there is only a few that can get quality cars that will demand a higher price and we all know who those companies and people are!
aww crap, did you see that!

What auctions are you guys looking at? I see R34 GTRs go through for less than $20k CAN. now. Are they perfect? No. Do they have an accident history? No, so who gives a turkey if they aren't showroom fresh. Let the rich and careless coneheads spend $60k for a perfect one, the rest of us can have a descent example for far, far less. There are lots of cars that had great service done to them but are a pigsty inside and have a few dents but no accidents and zero rust.

You just need to be patient.
