as to my honda fan neighbor who drives a 90,s accord, with loud muffler, that he would rev up and zoom down the road like it had power. He does this every time he sees me working on my car. I don,t get it??????

Yesterday i'm filling up at my local chevron omw to work, and this guy pulls up in one of those egg shaped, ufo looking mazda mystere. As I'm pumping away he says asks what model skyline i'm driving. Conversation ensues:

Him- What kinda of skyline is that?
me- Gts-t
Him- Damn you should have gotten the GTR awd one, the frontwheel drive skylines are underpowdered.
me- um what?
Him- Dude, the Gtst's are nissan front wheel drive skylines.
me- *wide eyed* um this car is rear wheel drive.
Him- No it's not. If your going to drive in that type of a car you should fu**in no your sh*t.
me- *looking for a camera* Ok look it's a rear drive car, com and look under the car. See? thats my rear drive shaft.
Him- **** man you have a gtr thats the awd version totally. Ha aha poser you don't know a thing about your car. *he walks back to his car...

Yea, I had no comeback for him i drew a total blank full on deer in the headlights look. I've seen this car in my neighbor hood a few times so i know he's local. As i drove away I lit the rear end up as i pulled out. I wonder if he saw?

so im on the way to work today and im making a right hand turn at the lights there is a honda civic with a girl in the passenger and some loser driving, anyways as i come to a stop (the light is just about to turn green for me) i hear the girl say "hey look at that guy, look where he is sitting". anyways light goes green i make my turn and her loser boyfriend neutral drops the civic and squeals the wheels with major tire hop and exhaust rattling thru the intersection.

hahahaha. i got that before too. first month i owned my car. i pull up to a stop light with a non-rice ek9 with light mods already stopped there. i go take a quick look at the car since its rare not to see riced out hondas in my area. as i look the driver's passenger looks at me and smiles. i think nothing of it and i politely smile too. next thing i know the guy looks at me with this really mad look and is staring down my car hardcore. then he proceeds to stare at the stoplight waiting for it to turn green. as soon as it turns green he launches and i figured might as well. before i can even shift to second im ahead of him and by the time i was gonna shift to third he was already 5 car lengths behind me. i just take the first turn i see and continue on my way since im sure he wasnt gonna stop until he was able to pass me.

hey man, don't knock that civic...if you were on the highway he might have beat you. (assuming your skyline isnt over 400 whp). I have a turbo civic that puts down 320 whp, and It will destroy my mostly stock (for now) R32 GTR. But traction is the killer in 1st and 2nd. Not saying the car was definitely turbo'd or not, just that its the quiet guys you gotta watch. lol.

By the way, thats why I bought a GTR to modify...I was tired of spinning tires

im not doubting how fast civics are. but where i live id be surprised if any honda is pushing more than 140whp. plus his was not turbocharged nor supercharged. he was just some teenager that got his ego stomped on when his gf looked at my car and smiled. i dont really hate civics, its more of the owners. most of them are just too dumb for their own good. but i do give props to the rare few that actually mod their civics properly.

I pulled upto a 4-way about a month ago and theres 2 guys in a civic, well passenger notices my car and the driver procedes to do a small clutch dump. Would've impressed me if they just gave a thumbs up instead of acting like idiots.
