From what I understand, fuelmap goes I think was lean? in certain cells with upgraded MAF, so fuelmap needs to be retuned. Changing A/F ratio by a certain amount in some cases affects engine temperature, exhaust temperature, so ignition timing might need to be modifed to suit to bring down temperatures.

My bad, I didn't reread the post's before, where we were talking about heat and needing to retune ECU to suit the extra heat on intake plenum side of intercooler. ECU probably would need to be retuned, as airtemp is lower (might not be a lower air temp wise, if podfilter is exposed to heat from engine fan in engine bay) at podfilter vs higher on intake plenum side of intercooler.
With catchcan, MAF sensor probably wouldn't get coated in oil with blow through setup.RESPONSE MONSTER

One thing you're forgetting about MAF's is they do not like to be in any of the spots you're suggesting. Twin turbo pipe? Way too much turbulence, it's not going to run right.
Pro-M usually suggests having atleast 12-18" of straight pipe feeding into the maf to get rid of turbulence so that it will run right. There's more to getting it to work than just slapping a MAF in anywhere it would fit.1990 Skyline GT-R - Jet Silver Metallic

You can use a RB26 ECU on single MAF GTS engine. It just involves loading GTS maps onto RB26 ECU, joining 2x 02 sensor and 2x MAF signals together, so they send the same signal to RB26 ECU.
With single Ford Lightning MAF on RB26 ECU, it probably would need the 2 MAF wires / signals joined together.RESPONSE MONSTER
