Hey Hozer, What other changes did you make? I noticed you hit 200whp just over 4000rpm before WMI and hit it around 4400 after? I know what wmi has no effect on that but just curious. I'm assuming it was a cam timing change.

completely different tune because the WM let me do what I couldn't before. Timing was one of them.

Everybody say that Snow performance is cheaper than Aquamist. However when I compare the kit Aquamist is, in fact, cheaper. or else I'm mistaking something.

          Aquamist HSF-3. 700$
Come with the 52mm gauge to see flow and water level
          Come with low mixture level.
Plug and play ( well the lil ecu)
          Come with Failsafe.

Cons- I think the pump is not very good.

          Snow performance Stage 2. 500$
Pretty basic kit with a choice of 2 nozzle

Cons: However they recommend for 25psi+ to upgrade to the VC100 unit.
Failsafe and gauge is optional at 150$ each.
          No mixture level

          Snow performance stage 3. 690$
Comes with a gauge ( Personal preferance: the aquamist gauge is way better looking) that allow you to tune based on your MAP ( I'm not a tuner, I don't know what this means)

For an optional 40$ you can get a second nozzle and it's suppose to increase fuel economy ( look nice but does it really work?)

          Cons: No mixture level sensor
          still no failsafe

Please help me understand better these kits and their difference. I'm sure I'm not the only one who don't 100% understand these kit.

I am getting an AEM meth kit installed,,,

.. I never track the car,, it's an everyday driver,, just want the kit for that extra comfort level, advanced timing,
... oh perhaps that little bit of get up and go

...what sort of things should be taken in consideration when "tuning/configuring" the meth kit???
... as in driving habits,, when the kit should spary etc???

Really up to you. I had knock and heat issues at high boost so that's the only time mine ever kicks in. If you wanna advance timing and boost, you really need to dyno it, see where your knock starts to climb and have it kick in there.

Driving habits can stay the same, just gotta make sure your juice is always full.

the AEM kit is pretty simple. It will always spray unless you manually shut it down. You just set the max boost level and it'll inject a percentage of the max from no boost to max percentage at full boost.

Simple to install other than the injectors. Andrew at Monkey nuts has done a great job of aiming/installing the nozzles for this kit!

If you want the ultimate in cooling and safety then the way to go (PITA but worth it) is a wet NOS kit with a 40hp NO2 jet and an 80hp fuel jet ran with Ethanol (or Meth if you want more upkeep, it's corrosive and must be flushed if to be left for a long time).

The NO2 is about -240f and the alcohol sprayed will absorb most of the heat created in the compressor side of the turbo. You can spray that at 2000rpm without hurting anything and will give you about a 100lbft bump in lowend torque. Using alcohol as the fuel will give you the ability to use the same ignition timing as you were using without the NO2 (usually you have to back it off 2 deg for every 75 or so hp jets).

NO2 is like an electric motor, 50hp is 50hp across the board with huge torque down below trailing off as the rpm increases.

so I will be installing the AEM kit thanks to Nismo-stune who changed my mind ( cheaper than paying an aquamist kit).

But I started looking at NO2 and I see kit going for as low as 300$ but I think the mains disavantage of this kit is the price to fill the bottle right? It's not something you can really use, all time long like an water-meth kit right?
