In the FSM there's a section that shows you how to troubleshoot and meter your harness, ecu, ignitor. If you don't have a meter, all auto shops have meters and they'll be able to help you.

Oh, if you have a bad ground on the ignitor or coil brackets, you can have this problem too. So meter your ground too.
swapped in a harness off a guy from town, it was an old and brittle harneess BUT i havent heard a miss yet but i havent driven much either. Ill try it out tomorrow and see if i hear any missfires. Seems like it was just a bad harness. I polished up all the grounds points earlier today also cause one looked dirty so i thought it was worth a try. And i had swapped in a new coilpack, well an old one that i had laying around.

Your ECU is most likely not the problem. ECU's rarely are actually faulty, they are usually replaced from poor diagnosis. Use the procedures in the repair manual to test the Cam angle sensor

Well.. problem still persists. going to ground ignitor and wiring harness directly to the battery and going to swap the coilpack on cyl 4. Currently, i have no idea what to do. I am just reading over replies and trying whatever i can... help is appreciated, updated thread as well.

What kind of sensor would it be though? my MAF has been resoldered and cleaned about 2 months ago. AAC was cleaned about 2 months ago as well.

I think my TPS has issues because somedays ill barely touch the pedal and itll go from "bogging" to pulling and accelerating, just by the tiniest little touch of the pedal. But it doesnt do that much so i never thought of it to be an issue

Edit: Swapped 4th coilpack, grounded harness and ignitor directly to the battery, and run that hanging ground wire to one of the allen bolts for the cover.. took it for a 20 minute drive, still think i hear random misses but it didnt have a cylinder shut down completely like before so i guess i will see what happens tomorrow, hopefully one of those things fixed it, btw does anyone know where that ground wire i found goes?

Update. Added video of a strange sound by the injectors. Was told its my injectors opening and closing but i just recently noticed the sound, never thought anything of it until tonight.
