thanks! I did have a blast, a great way to have spent a Saturday.
I don't think it normally snows there, kind of a weird thing, it was only snowing around the circuit, and very cloudy. When I left it was snowing a lot, but about 10 minutes from the circuit there was sunlight and no snow to be seen.
The circuit is a bit higher than sea level, but it's not up the mountain too far, more at the base.

Well, the Tokyo Auto Salon is in early January, the HKS is in late January, All-Japan GTR Owners Meeting is in September, and the Nismo Festival is in December. So any of those times is a good time to come!
