CHEVROLET MALIBU 1981 black repainted 10 years ago. The owner plan to do a track car with this car so he didn't want the supreme detailling service. Just a good single stage compound would do.

    Riccardo blue clay bar
    Ultra-look car soap
    Poorboys clay lube
    Poorboys SSR2
Makita on orange pad LC flat pad
    DP Max Wax

Before, so much swirls man! :

This car would need, AT VERY LEAST, a 2 step compound to remove more scratch but the owner paid me for a 1 step. So, I did. Still a very good diffrence between both 50/50

With a 1 step compound like I did, I did a 60-70% correction and added a tons more of gloss and wetness to this flat black paint.

One after pic of the interior.

    Thanks for looking.

I'm looking forward to do some skylines

This week-end, I was doing 2 cars for a couple but see how cute they are : BLACK Murano 2004 ( the boss) and a BLACK celica 2004 ( lady). See, how cute it's lol!

Here's the treatment I did for a total of 7 hours for this car.

      Engine: Degreaser,mini-brush,plastic protector

      Tadam!

3 step headlight polishing: 3 different compound + 3 different pad + a sealant to protect them from future yellowish

      A bit better no !??*tu*

Special favor: Taking off the decal:

After removing the decal without scrathing the car and take off the glue, You can still see the ugly mark of the decal:

Forgot to take a close-up pic but I swear you couldn't say a sticker was there before

Another favor; removing the RDS on the rear bumper So, a good 3-step polishing was needed.

      Before:

With flash, it show more but still a lot less than before!

But see, how, with no flash, the result is almost perfect!

The real job, 1 step polishing It's very hard to do a 1-step on a black because the risk of Holograms is very high. So, I had to take a less abrasive pad to get a good correction with great reflection without having holograms

      One shot 50/50.

      After shot:

      Thanks for looking!

          BLACK JEEP LIBERTY 2006

So, I was aking to gives this Jeep a second life and I think it's well done! By the way, working 9 hours outside with a sun burning you and making the car panel hot is very hard! I had to drink like 3 liters of water and needed to work with smaller area than I usually do because the polish get dry faster.

          Washing
          Clay Bar Riccardo
          SSR2.5 Orange pad
          SSR2 green coarse pas
          SSR2 white pad
          Pinnacle Souveran wax
          Trim restorer
Glass polishing system with wool pad
          4x Aquapel rain repellant
          rubber protector
Metal polish and wheel sealant on wheels

So, I started washing that baby. pretty dirty if you ask me haha!

          Tires/ Wheel:

Take a look at the rubber turning orange and chrome is dull

After, you have a shiny tire wheel combo and protected with a coat of wheel sealant

Trim restorer: I got my hand on a special treatment that last 2-3 years instead of siliconne fade2black or dying product. See by yourself!

Notice the handle, dull, grey, almost white on some spot:

After:*tu* Black again like it should be!

After a 3-step polishing. none of theses big scratches were still there on the paint :

****, I love this shot!! Notice the wetness and gloss, it's beautiful!

There's still a VERY SMALL AMOUNT of scratches but with such a wetness, you can't find them without putting a flash and looking for them! I would say approx. 95% correction.

          Thanks for looking.
          See ya!

                Twin turbo pipe polishing.

                150
                220
                320
                400
                WET 400
                WET 600
                WET 800
                WET 1000
                WET 1500
                WET 2000
                Steel wool_ metal polish
                Polishing pad with metal compound
                metal polish
                metal sealant

                before :

                bigger grain:

                gettin smaller:

                now, this is polishing! :

                2000 step:

Sorry about the light in my work place, it make the pipe look pretty fugly but you can still see there's quite a bit of reflection

Last step: Polished with the metal compound, then, with a microfiber I slightly rubbed my metal polish to pick up any compound residu and then put 2 coat of metal sealant.

No pic in the engine because it's under construction and have been scratched a lil bit.

Here's a friend of mine who was completing in a SQ audio competition and there's point allowed for the installation and how clean it is. So, he ask me to do a quick interior detail.

                              Produit:
                              All purpose cleaner d
                              Salt remover
Professional upholstery stain-remover ( for coffee stain)
                              Micro-fiber towel for dust
                              303 protector
                              degreaser for door jamb
                              little brush for crack
                              Galaxyhot water extractor
                              Air compressor to clean vent

                              before:

                              Just a bit of salt....

                              LOTS OF DUUUUUSSTT!

A lot of coffee stain everywhere, he must learn to drink while driving haha

                              after:

                              No more coffee stain.

While washing the trunk with my extractor

Wash the seat quick just so the dust can get wet and trap more dust this way. Wet dust is easier to trap than dry dust.

                              Door have been degreased.

Here's what you do with an air compressor and lil brush.

Rubber transfer, I guess? Who cares? It's gone now haha.

Damn, I'm looking forward to do some JDM but hey, I won't force anyone ! Maybe next summer ''tuner'' will trust me more and gives me a try.
