ok first of all that looks bad ass! but Im no cage expert and Im wondering whats the deal with the cage going through the bottom of the B-pillar? will that not stop your door from closing? or are you notching out your door to close?

Hi guy's,
It is not the piller it is just the inner lip and there is no door interior everything was measured spot on for this build everything fits tight.
Thanks for the amazing feedback the car is purpose built for the 2009 Drift series.

its still the B-pillar...but Id really like to see pics with the doors on, I've fixed many 350's and Im having a hard time seeing the door close with the cage sticking out that far seeing as its out farther then the door check and that has to hit the door frame for the lights to go out.
Not saying I dont believe you but it would be nice to see some pics cause if it fits that would be awesome and a hell of a job by who ever did the fab work
i don't think the dome light is much of a concern on this type of build
also with the door stripped down to bare metal there is probably enough clearance. Also doubt they would have missed something like that at this level of fab work.

I realize that and I know the dome light wont be a concern in this type of build.
Im trying to say the door check hits the bare door frame from factory not the trim panel and seeing as the door check only sits out an inch or so that this will cause a possible problem seeing as the cage is sticking out what looks to be 3-5 inches. So I was wondering with the cage sticking out further then the door check if this would stop the door from closing.
I also know at this level of fab work that you would think that stuff like that would be looked at but you never know
I understand and actually the door panel was thick as hell but the door switches and lights are of no concern to us., i will take some more pictures when back at the shop on Monday. Thanks for all the great comments we worked hard on this.
