  • Hi GTRC

    Name: Mike
    Age: 27
    Ethnicity: Canadian
    Location: Regina, SK
    Ride: 1991 Skyline GTR
    What I do: Network Engineer
Why am I here: This seems like a really good place to get to know people across Canada who are into Skylines and just the auto scene in general. Being where I live there are very few events and exposure to this industry. It is nice to keep in touch and see what is going on across the country. I would love to visit Japan some day, if anyone knows how to get a job in the auto industry over there let me know

Why am I here: I have been totally obsessed with cars for as long as i can remember. I love everything form the classic american muscle, 1970 Challanger to the super outta my reach porsche 911's. But ive always had a place in my heart for imports, skyline above all else. Im not just another kid who saw Fast and The Furious and went out and bought a skyline :P Ive done my reaserch and although i dont have much hands on experience i know a little bit about my favorite car (skyline duh). This car is going to cost me painfull hours of work to pay for, ordered it about a month ago hopefully it arives soon :-D

What I do: Work @ TD Canada Trust

                        Hi everyone,

I am 24 (scared to turn 25 in Sept of this year) :-P

I just registered here as a means to talk to some owners about the 89-92 GTR as i am soon looking to be an owner of one in the next few months. I figured that you all would be best to talk to about this next venture in my life. A little about myself as i am a grad student from Sheridan College in Oakville (also my hometown) and am now working for TD (yeah banks sux i know) and looking to get back into the hobby aspect of cars. Being a previous owner of a turbocharged car(92' FWD Talon TSi) I was looking for an affordable alternative to a Mitsubishi. Recently my friend bought a 4 door GTS4 /w a swapped rb26dett and the fell of the car was exactly what i was looking for, as this car will be the next step for me a bit more base power and AWD never hurt :-P !

I hope i can talk to you all on some of the questions and aspects to look for when buying a GTR and which companies are best to deal with.

                        Thx again
                        Dave~

*I have now bought my GTR, 52000kms wooooot!!!*

Why am I here: Initially saw the advert in Modified Magazine aboot a year or so ago, and poked around. Decided I'd have to get me a Skyline or at least a Toyota Aristo or 180SX/S13/S14, or something. Did a little digging to try and find the importing process highlights, and found out about the lads and lasses in Parliament trying to make Canada into the USA as far as importing goes... Figured I'd drop a line in the legalese forum, and such, but apparently I need 5 posts before I can post links!!!
