I have been a long time fan of the skyline but with no real knowledge of the car and it's history I would like to buy a GTR that I could drive part time all year around and get the heart pumping again I'm an American muscle sort a guy but have to admit these carse can push some serious power without breaking the bank my current problem is Vancouver is the closest place for me to get one of these rides but the prices are all over the map I would like a bit of help from everyone here to point me in the right direction and thanks for having such a great forum online for a newbie like me.

Why am I here: I currently drive a Dodge Srt-4 whcih I have highly modified and love. This car has been really good to me but I'm looking for a new project.
Love the Skylines and thought I would start to do some research in case I make the move to one.
Worried about the right hand drive though...anyone have any negatives about it?

What i do: Journeyman Commercial Transport Mechanic.
What i am doing here: I'm a big fan of Nissan Skyline GT-R. I've already bought one threw my importer in Japan. Going to be shipped in a couple weeks time from japan. This is a great website and i browse threw it almost everyday to know more about my car.
As mentioned above am a heavy equipment transport mechanic but i still work on cars. Not really into intense tuning/moding but all i know is i am going to keep my GT-R very stockish, all in all i'll make sure my cars's running good. 0-60mph in 4.8 secs is good enogh for fun
What i currently drive: 2002 VW Jetta Turbo Diesel (60mpg's) and 2007 Dodge Nitro SLT
