Is it possible I could get the street damper for my r34 nur engine? I want to keep my AC and Power Steering. I looked up the part on ebay and some were r32 and some were r33/34. I'm not really sure why that is.

      Super Damper Models:

      R32 Street (up to 500HP): 918599
      R32 Street (up to 1000HP): 917752 - Group Buy

      R33/R34 Street (up to 500HP): 918598
      R33/R34 Steet (up to 1000HP): 917753

All models support A/C, but the 91775X models are 25% over-drive for the A/C, which is going to be tough on your A/C compressor if you have a raised rev limiter (which is why they recommend removing the A/C belt when racing).

The 91859X model's A/C pulley is very close to stock size A/C.

I'll talk to ATI about pricing on the other models for those wanting a different option.

      Mike

Sadly, when it comes to the Rb30, almost everything is gonna be custom. Have you tried RIPS for the pulleys?

I could be the only one with this issue, but I bought some alum. underdrive pulleys which includes the water pump. I see this purchase comes with a waterpump pulley which doesn't matter to me if I have an extra, but I must know, is this because the water pump pulley that comes with it is futher out or in? If everything lines up directly with OEM pulleys, then I have no issues. So, is this damper the same fitment as OEM?

"I used an rb26 ATI balancer on my rb25/30 build; using rb25 p/s, air con, and alternator. All using rb25 belts.

The actual balancer fits straight on, but you need to do a couple of mods on other components.
1/ The Power Steering pulley needs to be re-pressed about 5mm forward, to line up with the balancer p/s pulley. After moving the pulley forward, my mechanic just spot welded the pulley to the shaft for extra support.
2/ If you are using the std engine clutch fan, like i am, you'll need to space it out about 5mm otherwise it may hit the balancer. My mechanic made a spacer/hub, similar to the ones used for rims."

Will the stock size belts fit the ATI race damper set? I was wondering about getting these kevlar belts before I get you guys to do it for me, but they are OEM size

The difference in the two pulley's are the ps offset. If you want to run a 33/34 non hicas ps pump then you use the r34 model for the r32
if you have r32 ps pump on your rb26 you use r32 pulley.
Not sure how it relates to 20/25/30 but one will be closer then the other.

I have a r34 pully on my car if i ever wished to have ps back again, i can measure the offset from the back of the pulley if someone has the r32 version to compare to, or i could compare it to stock.

                      http://www.powerenterpriseusa.net/pr...iming_belt.htm

                      - 25% OD on A/C belt
                      - 15% UD on power steering
                      - OEM size on water pump.

So only the stock-size water pump belt will work.

Good find. That's kind of what we figured, but I didn't have the right engines at the right stages of disassembly to check! I've added you to the list. We still need a more people, so spread the word!
