Mike I have a quick question about usin a wideband with the nstune software. It says on the nistune site that aem widebands will work with the software. But how are you supposed to connect the wideband so that it will show up on your computer screen.

Connect the wideband through the ECU as well.. Theres a way to wire it up with the instructions you get (or have online) through AEM...

The blue wire i think? no?..

Hey Stu, most widebands have a serial port for communication with the laptop. If your laptop doesn't have a serial port, there are USB to serial adapters.

I strongly suggest the innovate kit, as it is the most accurate...

^^[to other readers]Extremely sensitive (P.M.S. stage 3) to grounding variations. Be prepared to re-do grounding for an Innovate at least once.

and about that vh41de nistune unit discussed earlier; still want but, as with all projects, things are taking longer than thought. hopefully there is another round of this deal later, I will be in for one then.

^^ If it's installed properly, you'll never have a problem. Most widebands are very sensitive to bad grounds. More accurately, most electronics are. Just solder all your connections and run proper grounds, and you'll never have a problem.

NO butt connectors, or running your grounds to rusty old bolts and brackets!
