  • Any word on official Canadian GT-R price?

Anybody know a dealer taking orders on 09 GTR and what the asking price is?

I've been told that we'll know more in January about exact pricing and deposits. If it's close to the American price, then I'll be very happy.

Im surprised there not auctioning them off to the highest bidder. There are so few cars being made, and the price is very reasonable (IMO) so I think the dealers will be putting a massive markup on it if they can get there hands on one.

Just talked to a Nissan sales rep at my x-mas dinner this evening and he said 72,000 plus depending on dealers and there is a 10,000 mark-up, making it 82,000 plus.

The extra 10,000 is for equipment to enable the dealers to repair the new GTR's, training, etc. but that price may very from dealer to dealer (atleast here on vancouver island)

Really? So $72,000 is MSRP for Canada? When you think about what the car delivers and it's competitors in that price range, that's an incredible bargain.

very true there is quite a large uprising with the GM guys towards the GTR; "Corvette" is number one in many people's eyes and now the new Nissan GTR is blowing it out of the water, and costs less than the corvette....... there is alot of hate between GM hardcores and Nissan followers
