  • Team Senbous Widebody Mazda RX7 FD

wasn't sure where to post this, whether in media or here but here goes.

just thought I'd post up this video of a guy's Mazda RB7 FD yes RB7. I'll let the video do the talking, nice paint, widebody (drool), HUGE wheels. No build sheet as of yet but you're more than welcome to figure out what he has done to the engine in the few seconds that they show the engine bay. Clearly I have to give this guy credit for putting all this time/effort into this car....very nice build indeed.

Is that 90 degree corner in coolant piping or IC piping?
Decent car, not a fan of the wheels though.

all of that work and to put a RB25 in it... i dont think he should call it an RB7

Nice car, looks pretty good, I like it. The wheels aren't my taste but the widebody work is very nice and the engine swap is super clean. I don't care what he calls it, it's still a good looking vehicle. Good stuff!

Well, I love the RB20 and have always wanted to build one. If I didn't want to build an RB20, I would have gone RB26. Secondly, the RB20 is the right engine for my build, I wouldn't ever use the potential of a built RB26. Although an RB26 is a gorgeous engine, I still favor the 20...it's just a matter of preference and it's crazy enough for me. It may not be the RB with the most potential and might require a little bit more work, but I'm willing to do that extra work for this engine and look forward to completing my build. To each his own.

Since the guy wanted an RB25 in his car, he threw in an RB25, again, my point is that it's just preference.

I wouldn't have dicked around with an RB25 in a RWD car, it would've been 2JZ all the way

                          there is an RX7 on www.rx7club.com that has a RB26DETT... it's sick.

the one the OP posted has a shine auto burnout kit on it. all in all, not super impressive..
All that time and effort and he could'nt have gotten rid of the tan interior? uke:

Mine has tan and once I have the $$, it's ALLL getting swapped for black.

20B is better though :P but to be honest not a big fan of the 13B exhaust note...

overal the car was ok... he did say it was only 40% complete from what i heard?

as for the wheels, HRE is the acronym of baller bling status :P lol ...
