I actually kind of diff it but. If you take a close look at the grill and the little air intake holes which look like eyes kind of. It really reminds me of something that would be in the movie cars. The eyes look Asian! Sweeet

sooooo true. at my old workplace there was a guy there with a black miata. he even put rectangle pieces of metal in the bottom grill and painted it white to look like teeth. hahahaha.

i have to agree. i knew a guy with a miata. hes got one of the hottest wifes ever lol. but i think that people need to stop calling a car gay or not even giving it a chance simply based on looks. ill drive the ugliest car in the world if it has potential to be a very well performing car. its like all you guys saying that srt-4's are gay/ugly cuz its a neon... so what if you dont like the looks? its a great car! and i know of a few localy that would embarass most of you (not all of course lol).

It's well engineered, it's light, and it's a great platform for tracking, autocross, and doesn't it even have it's own racing series?

If you don't like the look of it.... change it... no one is going to stop you.

The simple fact that so many guys dislike the miata tells me the following two things:

1) You aren't comfortable with you sexual orientation
2) You care to much about what everyone else thinks

The pros far outweigh the cons of this car.

Plus, chicks dig it more then your skylines... especially if it's making 500hp and change...

Both myself and Shadao would have no problem driving one; it just doesn't fit our personal needs/desires, and so we would never personally own one.

We are entitled to drive whatever car we choose right? I just could not justify spending money on a car I wouldn't be in love with.

And Shadao wouldn't buy one that won't fit his hockey gear.

hahaha well, the car is deemed a "man-magnet" because we will always get way more attention from guys then we will from girls.

not fast.. well stock maybe, but stock miatas suck.

at a local track day there was a turbo miata pacing an R8 all day. And they both could drive...

Ahhhhahahhaha. Oh crap I scared my dog I laughed so hard.

The only Miata I would rock would be the one I saw at a car show with a Vortec enhanced Mustang 302 in it. Oh I know the perfect balance would be all screwed up, but I don't care. Smokin' the tires at 90kph by just squeezing the go pedal would make up for that.
