I drive a Pontiac Vibe right now. I don't mind saying it, people can put me down for it too, it's not exactly the greatest car ever, from a bankrupt company.

And I said what my opinion of Civic's are. I have about the same respect for a Civic as I do a Vibe, which, trust me, is not alot.

Someone who finally understands what I was trying to say. He really wants his car gone, but it's sad that people have lost so much respect for cars like his.

Even excluding the price of the car to start with, you could build a 600 WHP turbo civic for significantly cheaper than a 600 WHP GTR. For some people, straight line is all that matters.

I think that's a bit off.

600 whp gt-r: 2860's, pistons, studs, bolts, injectors, poncams.

600 whp B series: fully machined block, p & p head, then at least 6k on internals, gt35, wastegate, intercooler.

Not to mention how much you would need to spend on the civic to get it to hook up at all, but a 26 drivetrain can easily handle 600.

I could be way off here but when i was pricing out a build on my dc (so glad i just bought a skyline) it came out to a lot more than i have seen gt-r builds cost.

210whp N/A. walked on not only a built STI, but also was 1/2 second off Don Nimi's 450whp 240sx and keepin pace with a R35 GTR at the Packwood National Tour...

I had way more fun driving this than my old Skyline on the autocross course.

I co drove it for the weekend and did OK... first time driving the car. The owner however was the one who came 3rd in Street Modified, only .200 off from 2nd place (Nimi's 240sx)
