Many, many, many companies have policy in place to not accept any sort of work or ideas from outside parties due to the problems that would surface if they did use your idea (or humored you, listened, declined, then came out with something similar, you sue, etc...).

Don't take the denial personally and as mentioned before in the thread they have people to do this work for them. It takes a lot of work to be a car designer and would it really be fair to just take a random sketch from an internet user?

If you want to get your design made, you should hook up with someone with the mechanical know how and make your own one-off car!

I know I've wanted to do that forever, I've got the know-how with welding and wiring and whatever, but the only thing holding me back from that is thinking "If I'm going to but suspension parts... I'd rather put them on the car I have instead of a car I won't be able to drive on the streets" ;P

Some car manufacturers like Holden for example have competitions where car designers can enter their design's -

            RESPONSE MONSTER

The most epic signature ever "epic".

              Acura NSX - MR

Hey man! Engine placement in relation to the axles matters. Okay, well not that much, but still..technicalities.

I'm with Dan on this one.

You offered, they declined... let it go.
They aren't obligated to accept your design in any way, and as mentioned it would probably cause more red tape than they would be willing to deal with.

If you're just looking for a pat on the back find someone in the automotive industry who does reviews on new cars (or something along those lines) and send it to him/her.

                      Sometimes no just means no.
                      unless she's drunk....
