Cheaper to make a Civic fast than a skyline

I don't understand the hate towards honda's much. They're light, easily modable, parts are easy to find, huge community/support, cheap, and ok power/weight ratio. I bought i skyline cuz i wanted to stand out from the herd but i don't hate.
Sure a lot of those guys are douche's but thats purely statistics. If there's 1 tool in a 10, you'll have more tools in a crowd of 10,000 people.
And if you argue that Civic's are rice. What about the blue gtst with oversize gold chromes?
