the problem was more with fluery than it was with crosby...

and malkin sure stepped up... you see the pens are more than just crosby... wheres as the sens are just an aging alfredson and spezza... the rest of there team doesnt have what it takes to de-throne the champs

I'm quite certain the aging Alfie and Spezza can hold their own. Malkin was a snivelling bitch. Crosby was a non-factor because he had no place to move anywhere. Volchenkov, Sutton, Neil and Rutuu will win this series for us by crushing them ..game after game.

Should be a fun series. I wanted the Sens to take one from them in Pitt, lets see what we do on Friday. My expectations are low, compared to everyone else with the Pens.

BTW Shadao, I always thought you were from BC. How's the weather in Pittsburgh?

Go ottawa!!! I fly in from Afghanistan and make it home tomorrow to watch game two. A play off game is the best thing I could ever ask to come home too after hanging out with way too many americans (no offense to you americans reading this). An aging alfie is still better then a whining crosby btw. And our defense is one of the top in the league.

just because im from BC doesnt auto-make me a canucks fan... lol.. i have never been a canucks fan, its allways been pens for me... you see back in the day with all the street hockey everyone had there teams, most were canuck fans but they sucked(and still do IMO), i wanted to be a fan of an awesome canadian hockey player and my choice was super mario, he and his pens have done me well and i never lost faith in them even when they were worst in the league and there were talks of moving the team to las vegas...

malkin walked out on hte ice and scored... he can cry all he wants too, and im sure the whole team will again when they hoist the cup above there heads...

one thing to remember is last year the pens came into the playoffs hot as hell this year they just got malkin back in there line up from injury and sickness, gonchar had surgery thanks to ovi the douche... kunitz as well had surgery this year... its only just now and over the past couple weeks that the pens have been at full strength and healthy... id watch out pens are gonna open up and show what it means to champs

Watched my other fave team last night. Habs! What a game. After a lame first period they were all over the place. End to end skating for both teams. They did a great job on Ovie too. Zero SOG's!

It was like Montreal was a whole new team that game.


They played extremely well together, like they were actually a team. The defense was great, and Mike Cammalleri, holy **** does that guy just push and push and push. And Spacek did a great job of holding off Ovi.

LOL, the game was fun to watch.

Lets face it, no one expects the Sens to win in 4 straight games, and Crosby will not go down quietly. We went to Pitt and took one from them, drew first blood. I'd call that a good roadtrip.

They took everything the Pens could muster and lost by a single goal late in the third.

I'm freaking ecstatic! I can't wait for Game 3
