General rant against decline of properly modded vehicles

I bought my car like this, but personally, I would of done the same thing. I didnt buy it because it had a gtr front bumper and I wanted a gtr, I bought it because it is a really clean car, because for the price I paid I could of bought a mediocre gtr.

See ? people are so quick to judge other vehicles, but when their own are scrutinized, it's like someone attacking them personally.

This is why we should all just appreciate what we have and not judge what other people are driving, because I am sure there are just as many passionate Honda owners out there that feel just as justified with their body upgrade choices.

that makes no sense just because someone puts a gtr bumper on a gts doesnt mean he has bad taste or like what other people are doing with there very ugly body kits its still a skyline product so its no different its the same thing as the post above you said

edit: The GTR front bumper allows more air to a front mount intercooler, it's a function thing. Even though most people don't care about function.

My biggest Pet Peave is MODEL or CAR ENVY and is the #1 reason I bought a GTR.

Every cheeze-ball body kit out there wants to make your car look like a Skyline whether it's a Mustang or a Civic and I personally think that a GTS-T with a GTR front bumper is no better than a Honda Accord with a GTR Body Kit and/or front bumper.
If looking a certain way was so important to you, then you should have bought THE car or MODEL in the first palce.

disagree. its preferance, a gtr bumper looks better on a gts + more air to an intercooler, not like putting some shitty 200$ body kit on your moms accord.

Sorry. I don't mean it as an insult, or to hurt anyone's feelings, but people can't have it both ways.

Alternate Model Body Kits or fascia upgrades are either good across the board, or bad. You can't call a Honda 'Rice' for having a GTR front bumper (or maybe even an NSX bumper ?) and not call a Skyline GTS-T the same thing, even though it is a Skyline.

- replica wheels
- fail offset/width
- china intercooler/rad
- china coilover
- china body kit
- I mean any replica parts...
