General rant against decline of properly modded vehicles

I agree completely. I will be leaving my car bone stock for this exact reason. B-o-n-e stock. Then, when I am able to support it in the late 2010's, I will mod it.

I have no sound system, and only just recently put everything back in behind my front seats. It was loud and annoying on the highway, and I probably only removed a max of like 90-100 pounds from the car (all sound related stuff included, since all four speakers were blown). This also included the spare since it was rusted to hell and back, and my car didn't come with a jack. Now I've put back seats in, but I still have no sound system.

I didn't notice any difference after stripping the car out, I just felt like a badass having a bare back seat, but the road noise got old.

Agreed completely, dunno who else here is from hamilton, but we have atleast 7,000 toy boys in civics with big ass sound systems and only an after market exhaust thinking there the total ****.... gets kinda annoying when everyone of them pulls up to a light trys to stare you down then blasts off with all 160hp and there bass shaking there car, so you cant even hear the music, only the car vibrating off its wheels.

This is my rant to cry about the general decline of modding quality (skylines included)...

If you don't have the $ to make 500+whp reliably, don't do it... Don't add huge turbos or more boost if you haven't spent the cash. Big numbers are cool, properly supported numbers, even cooler

I understand you probably love your cars, as do I love mine, but please Jesus only have it as loud as need be. I don't care to hear you dumb-ass coming from 8 blocks away unless you have 1000WHP

Your sound system is probably really cool, but if you've ditched your seats and dash for "weight reduction" you'd better not have a 20" sub... In addition, I doubt there is many people to impress at 2am, turn your loud ass music down.

Large wings and body kits... Personal preference, however...
If you get a body kit, please paint it the color of your car
If you have a large wing, please mount it properly. Do not simply drill into your trunk

Extreme wheel camber is cool for drifting, not for driving. Please don't camber your wheels to look cool

Unless you've done it before, the results of pulling your own fenders are gonna be a bigggg let down... Big steez hit

Modding your cars takes cash, if you don't have it, don't do it. Un-modded cars are not "un-cool". I love cars and I enjoy modding my own, just do it sensibly.
