So Allen. I ask you this.

    Who are you voting for?

I am not voting harper. that is a done deal.

But as to who I vote for.

    Undecided.

It seems that bother the liberals and NDP want to do more for my parents and grandparents than me.

Im leaning towards NDP. But im wondering what he is promising for an 18 year old kid and others in my age group

I'd ask for a concrete example but I have a feeling you're being sarcastic.

At least I hope you're being sarcastic.

It's not so much about following politics, as it is about seeing a problem developing quickly & trying to fix the problem before it becomes a disaster.

Harper is the most dangerous PM in Canadian history. ALREADY. Handing him a majority gives him dictatorial power over Canada. Already, as a minority govt, he has been operating as if he has majority power. He's already refusing to compromise, he's already breaking LAWS, he's already eroding your rights -- even if you're too unwilling to realize it. The entire reason there is such an anti-Harper movement this election should be your first red flag. Wake up.

People across the world have been fighting with their lives to remove their corrupted govt regimes & have democracy. Here in Canada, our corrupt govt falls on it's own & you're willing to not only put it back in power, but give it UNCHECKED, TOTAL POWER. Look around you, the water in this pot is beginning to bubble. There's still a chance to jump out.. but you have to know which way is up first.

No responses since he doesn't answer questions, but he would do a photoshoot of him sitting in his skyline holding kittens while creepily staring into your soul.

How about a reason to give Harper more power when he's already proven he is absolutely incapable of handling the checked power he's already been handed? My reasons to oppose Harper as PM aren't based on other leaders or what they "might" do. I am basing my argument on the things Harper has already done, on record. Judging the last 5 years of his rule to decide if he's worth rewarding a majority to.. and the answer is a resounding No!

The only thing worse than an uninformed vote is a misinformed vote. Harper is pointblank lying to your face & you're just eating it right up. Even worse, you conservatives are just spewing talking points that aren't based in reality whatsoever. It's actually quite scary that you're so oblivious to the danger Harper poses for Canada.

Harper is NOT good for the economy.

His govt is so "stable" he had to shut down parliament twice to avoid being kicked out as PM.

He says this "unnecessary" election was forced by the opposition, because of the budget vote, BUT THE 2011 BUDGET WAS NEVER VOTED ON. He fell on contempt charges, for refusing to show the full costs of his crazy crime bills after being ordered several times by parliament to do so. If he can't respect the laws of our democracy, how can he respect Canada?

67 Conservative MPs were involved in election fraud. Two of his cabinet members are under RCMP investigation for those fraud charges RIGHT NOW.

We have recovered LESS than 1/5th of the labour jobs lost to the recession.

Many of our "Economic Action Plan" parttime jobs were given to immigrant workers, who were on temporary visit to Canada & have already left (taking that money with them).

Hell, even those Economic Action Plan signs weren't made in Canada -- Harper contracted a company in the US to do those.

For the first time EVER, Canada doesn't have a seat on the UN security council, because of Harper's incompetence.

His global warming/environmental policies are so outdated countries were lobbying to have Canada REMOVED from the Commonwealth.

Literally any area you look at, Harper has been ******* it up in a major way. I challenge any conservative voter to find me ONE REASON he is worth voting for. Seriously.. just one!
