impul is a subsidiary company of nissan like amg is to benz... jun hks or other aftermarket tuner companys did not offer cars for sale
they offer upgrade packages...
impul is different there cars are delivered from manufactures warehouse factory stock to impul and de badged and sold off the floor in one piece not bought and tuned aftermarket
it is no longer a nissan skyline techincally its a impul r33-r
so it is factory stock with a navi and turbo timer/controller
certas insured it for $2175.00 a year
with 1000 collision and 1000 comprehensive
thats 181 a month

I like those numbers...I'm going to give Allstate a call in a month or two when I find out more about when I'll be buying it. Thats really good considering its appraised at that much. I wouldnt need collision either...Im happyVictory is on the horizon..

I have mine thorugh urzula at allstate , but i had to have 10 years clean record , a second vehicle that is a daily driver , a full appraisal and paper work for the car ( all in 1 binder thanks mike at rightdrive) , and im 43 , costs me 1100 a year no restrictions.
She did tell me that they will not insure any more skylines , her adjuster pulled on the brakes when they had 6234565 people from here call them lol.
Lant insurance will insure it throughits silver wheels program if it is 15 years or older . you have to have a full appraisal , safety , youll need a second daily driver and you cant drive it to get groceries or go to work in it. Also if you drive long distance you have to call them and let them know before you do it. I have my wifes dune buggy iunsured through them ($330 a year appraised at $12,000)

Yes Ontario companies have through the roof rates because no one makes money off insuring RHDs. Only 2 companies in the province left that will insure them, a few other select ones will if you've been a previous loyal client.Victory is on the horizon..

I just called state farm to get a quote on the GTR R32 (My family has been with them for about 5 years now). I just wanted a quote before I went shopping for one. First the woman said that she doesn't see it in the system. Then she put me on hold, came back and said that it would cost the same as my prelude, about $270 a month. Then she put me on hold again, and said that they don't insure RHD cars. I told her that I knew about 3 or 4 people that had been insured through State Farm. Then she put me on hold again, came back and asked... "Why do you even want to buy this car?".... lol
Then she said that she recommends that I don't buy it, because it would be over $700 a month (I'm 18 under my dad's name), and that even if I crash they won't cover anything, and that I'm just paying for a useless piece of paper...
I'm going to call later and talk to the manager, she didn't seem very knowledgeable about it. She just confused me. How can a legitimate insurance company make you pay over $700 without covering any accident charges if god forbid you were to get in one.. Does this even make sense?

You are going in the right direction as you need to talk to a manager or higher, your base level broker is useless for anything that doesnt pop up in the system. That being said you had better be prepared to strong arm them a bit, unless they are going to lose your entire family's business they are not going to think about taking a chance on an 18 year old with one of these cars. Hell, they may still say no.
If you are serious about getting one of these cars buy a 100% stock model and you might have a chance of getting insurance, currently it seems: mods = no insurance.
Do you have any tickets on your licence? That may also make this much more difficult.
On a semi-unrelated note congrats Ryan (Oakville) on your first Skyline1994 R32 GT-R V-Spec II
