So I woke up this morning at my buddies place which is by tillicum, and to my joy, the pride and joy isn't parked outside.... Called the tow companies and the police, and apparently she was in an accadent around 4:30am this morning .

I have never had a car stollen from me before, soi don't know what to expect next.. I hope I don't get raped in the ass by ICBC though. If the damage is that bad, should I buy the car back and part it out? Just cut my losses and take what ICBC gives me? Maaaan, I don't know what to do

Sorry to hear man. I know the feeling. Good luck with ICBC. Once you find out what the extent of the damage is or get some pics post 'em up and we can give you a better idea of what to expect.

dude.. i feel your pain.. icbc seems to be much more reasonable now though. and under no circumstances do you surrender your car. you have the rights to first dibs on your car.

Anyways, I got the car 2 weeks ago from a guy named chris who works at toyota. the car is a silver/grey 91 gts-t with flat black 18" tenzo rims. rear wing was unbolted and removed, but the mounting hardware is still attached. I assume the car is lowered since there is pretty much zero body roll, but i haven't looked. Interior has the stereo removed and 3 gauges installed (boost, air/fuel, and oil temp), under that there is an apexi AFCneo, sparco shift knob, boot, and removable steering wheel. Nismo FMIC, and an HKS BOV. Car was running 11psi.
I was at timmies last friday with chris bowes for about 45 minutes before we left with the capitol drift chicks :P

I went down to totem today and took some shots with my iphone, and it's something you really dont want to see.. Honestly, I cried a little seeing it that way.. If you want to see photos that bad, tell me how to post them, and ill do it.


Ok, so the situation I am in is pretty ridiculous.. The cops have given me 2 option to go by, and both involve me being screwed some how.
1) take my ruined car and deal with ICBC, with no legal action from the police.
2) end up in jail with a ruined skyline, and having to deal with ICBC.
I'll now go into detail about why those are my two options...


Last night I parked my car at my buddies place at 9:45 while we went to silvercity to see zombieland (which is hilarious i might add). We got back to my buds place at like 12:05, where the car was still parked, and we began to down some booze before heading down town. The sober guy drove us all down, and since I was the dd on friday, I decided a night of tequila and 151 was in order! Needless to say, I was pretty sauced by the time the club closed at 2. After we left, we got pizza, and then we all got a ride back to my buds place... we got there around 2:30, and the car was still parked outside. I kinda blacked out when I got back to his place, so I dont know what happened, but from what I'm told, we chilled for like 45 minutes before all crashing.
At 4:30 the car was found at the corner of burnside and wascana where a witness saw the crash, and then two people flee on foot.
Now, since there was no damage done to the locks, or the ignition, nothing was stolen out of the car, and i can't remember passing out, the cops say it was my fault. This is where situation one comes into play.

I can also fight this, and write my report saying it was stolen while I was asleep, but with the evidence the cops have above, combined with the witness claiming to be able to spot me in a line up, I would end up going to jail for falsifying documents or something. This is pretty ridiculous to me since, at 4:30 is pretty dark outside, and the amount of early 20's males with fo-hawks in this city must be quite over whelming!! It could be of been any one of them, but if the witness says it was me, I'll go to jail...

The cops advised me to go to the sannich police department to pick up some papers, and then call ICBC saying the car was in an accident and it's sitting at totem awaiting a date for them to have it towed to their compound to be looked at and have damaged examined. On my walk home (45 minutes is a little while to think) I decided to do nothing that will set my path in stone, and will contact a lawyer come monday on my lunch break to see what all my options actually are.... Any one know a good one?
From what the cops told me, it seems entirely possible that I was the one who was behind the wheel, but I find it hard to believe since my buds told me we all passed out around 3:30.... Unless they know something I don't and are just trying to protect me?

The car needs to be removed from totem pretty quickly imo, but the only parking at my house is on the street. Is there any where I can have it towed? Or does any one have a spot it can be put with a tarp over it?

The suspension on the drivers front wheel is also ******. I didn't grab a photo, but it shows what i think to be 3 degrees of negative camber... which it didn't have yesterday.
