If there are any licensed body men (or woman!) who would care to take a look at my car in person and tell me roughly how much work it would be to repair, I would absolutely love to hear from you!!
I know Your opinion will be the same (write off), but possibly we could work something out where you repare it?
It's just one of those late night thoughts before passing out.
Sorry to hear... Quite the situation you're in. No broken doors/windows or ignition and you not remembering the night is a big pointer though it could mean nothing. Chances are, the witness would pick you in the line up so take your loses and hike that insurance rate...

start by having A ROLLING GTR then we talk u ******* mofo funzy little *****
if it is a write off chances are it will come with a tag that says salvage only or not for rebuild... parting it out is really your only option if you buy it back, but then you run into the problems i did ie. where do you put the car? how much will it cost to tow it from the icbc lot... bottom line, hope they give you some cash and start looking for a new car.
So I woke up this morning at my buddies place which is by tillicum, and to my joy, the pride and joy isn't parked outside.... Called the tow companies and the police, and apparently she was in an accadent around 4:30am this morning .
I have never had a car stollen from me before, soi don't know what to expect next.. I hope I don't get raped in the ass by ICBC though. If the damage is that bad, should I buy the car back and part it out? Just cut my losses and take what ICBC gives me? Maaaan, I don't know what to do
DO NOT SETTLE until you visually see the car, then decide if its worth keeping it for repair and/or a parts car. Then if its a complete loss, see what ICBC has to offer (prob not much seeing as they hate RHD cars) but i hope things work for you man. Id fcking lose it if i came out to see my skyline missing.

Sorry for the long awaited post, but there has been absolutely no new information. Every time I call ICBC it's the same old story as I mentioned above.
I have made up my mind in what my next step will be though: get a loan, and find myself another car. I'll swap in my electronics, motor, and a few of my desirable interior parts, and then sell my skyline that ICBC doesn't want anything to do with. It will have all the goodies such as a complete motor and trans, with complete interior, working w/ no leaks sun roof, and so forth. All money recieved from that parts car will go directly to paying off the loan for my new one haha.
This will all be set in motion as soon as I find a part time job that will allow me to pull in $400 a month... which isn't so easy haha.
OH, and on a side note, I suggest EVERY ONE install a fuel cut switch some where in your car! I know I will be. If any deadbeat thief manages to get inside your car, they wont be racing away in it any time soon.
