    Cam I dont hear from you for months then you come on and dominate GTRC haha thanks for the input on all the recent posts,you have added alot of technical input. Can you text me the info on the Canton unit that we would use for my car ? also can we fine tune the solenoid timing with the Vipec I have ?

      HAHA - I have been totally focussed on learning a new programming language for a new company I started and google apps for an unknown reason tonight downgraded an account and I was losing hundreds of hours of stored data. So I was transferring to another offsite backup I use for Lightspeed and well was basically in a state of panic and was sitting up watching percent bars move from from one to the other feeling a sigh of relief as each percent moved. So with nothing better to do I looked at the forums which i just usually don't have time to do.
      I will call give my contact a call on Monday and see if they have some new technology we might use or if nothing has changed I have a way. I will look at your schematic I am sure we have at least one output left that we could use on your ECU. Are you using the ViPEC for boost control or do you have a separate controller. If so we have one output for sure. As for the ViPEC boost controller we now have closed loop technology and all I can say is it is awesome I have never been happier with any boost controller yet.

          Cam!! you say there's a VIPEC boost controller? Well, I think I'll forget about the HKS unit and turbosmart manual controllers then. How do I get on with that? I picked up an accusump earlier this year and was trying to figure out a way to only have it active on higher RPM ranges like you say but didn't know how. I'll have to keep tabs on this. My accusump was too big for the engine bay so it went elsewhere.

            I have another solution that might be cost effective solution on a RPM which, MSD offers them, I think they are about 40 bucks... This could active the system at the specified rpm. If you don't have a spare out put on your standalone.

            EDIT* It looks like we would have to use the new digital RPM switch from MSD, as this one is for Coil on Plug or 5 volt refernce or Ecu Tach Output. They run about 130ish. But would serve the purpose.

              You could do that for sure and run a relay for cranking.

                I think I like the VIPEC controlled version bettah

                Cam, what's the VIPEC boost controller like for setup, can you get them easily or is there a wait time?
